There are several enemies Metal Arms, being either Mils, ZombieBots, other creatures, and in one case, Droids. All Mils will start carrying energy shields after the Morbot City levels, though not every single enemy unit will wear them. Some Mils can also be hacked into using the Control Tether, although not always. Most enemies come in various types and will be discussed at greater length below.

==Grunt==
The Grunts are Glitch's most common enemy, and throughout the game wield every primary weapon that you do excluding the Control Tether, Slingshot, Scatter Blaster, and Ripper. They also carry Coring Charges. To add even further to their variety, their weapons seem to upgrade just like yours. All portions of this Mil, excluding his legs, may be shot off or disabled. The Grunts may not be the strongest enemy you encounter, but to make up for this, they operate turret emplacements and vehicles, and are the only enemies that do so, making them very versatile robots. There are six colors for grunts. Each on will carry a weapon as in the following list:

Various grunts throughout may use shields.

'''Grunt''' - The Grunts are Glitch's most common enemy, and throughout the game wield every primary weapon that you do excluding the Control Tether, Slingshot, Scatter Blaster, and Ripper. They also carry Coring Charges. To add even further to their variety, their weapons seem to upgrade just like yours. All portions of this Mil may be shot off or disabled. The Grunts may not be the strongest enemy you encounter, but to compare to this, they will and operate every large static machine gun turret or vechile Glitch can, and are the only enemies that can do so, making them very versalite robots. There are five colors for grunts. Each on will carry a weapon as in the following list:
==Leech==
Blue- Mining Laser
The second Mil that you would see in order in the campaign. It is also the first flying unit. The Mil Leech has two abilities. It can spin its claws slicing enemies and it can lift up Glitch tossing the washers out of him. It only appears in the levels "Do ore Die" and "Morbot City". It is recommended that the player uses the SPEW or the Rivet Gun to take out the Leech.
Red- SPEW
Green- Rocket Launcher
Black- Rivet Gun
Silver- Toaster

It can spin its claws slicing enemies and it can lift up Glitch tossing the washers out of him. It only appears in the levels "Do or Die" and "Morbot City". It is better for you to shoot it with the SPEW or the Rivet Gun.
==Guard==
Although the instruction booklet would have you believe that these are an offshoot of the Grunts, they bear no resemblance to them, and instead look, though not necessarily fight, much more like a Titan.  Guards have a large amount of armor and can run relatively fast; while they lack the sheer brute force possessed by the Titan, the Guard's agility allows it to take down larger robots relatively easily. They wield a Halberd with a top-mounted laser similar to the Scatter Blaster. The D-port is located on its back.

They wield a halberd that they swing in a constant back and forth motion when at close range.  Their other weapon is a scatter laser mounted on top of the halberd that it shoots while running towards the closest target. This scatter laser is similar to the Scatter Blaster, as it has increased effectiveness while closer to the target and  and decreased damage while farther away. Similar to a Grunt, the body parts can be disabled, although here it is more hard to do so.

''' Vlax''' - Vlax is a purple Grunt that broke through the Droid Mines into Droid Town and managed to escape in a RAT. He was the only Mil who knew the location of the Droid Rebellion but was destroyed later by Glitch. He carries a Level 1 Rocket Launcher. In a clip, Vlax is seen running on a bridge and escaping."

He carries a Level 1 Rocket Launcher. In a cinematic scene, Vlax is seen running on a bridge and escaping.

'''Titan''' - The Titan is the commando of the Mils' army, armed with chainguns, a shoulder mounted rocket launcher, and a shock wave attack activated by stomping the ground. There are some variations of the mounted rocket launcher.  Although the Titan's arm cannons overheat when controlled by the player, it seems that that is not the case as an enemy. It appears to be the largest of the Mil army.

After the Morbot Region levels, some Titans may begin to carry shields and Level 3 Rocket Launchers.

'''Trooper''' - Among the weakest enemies in the game, with armor barely above that of Grunts, the Jump Troopers can prove to be difficult targets as they can fly through the air.  They have three distinct attacks; slicing the victim with bayonets on their wrists, firing explosive green plasma blasts from the ground or air, or from the air dive, bombing the target and attempting to slice the player in half for heavy damage.  The weapons are slightly more powerful than those of most Grunts.

'''Shard''' - The Shard is a small, quick flying machine.  It attacks at range and changes firing positions often.
==Snarq==
The Snarq is a small, quick flying machine.  It attacks at range and changes firing positions often.  Since they often come in small groups of 2-3, and are hard to hit, a Cleaner is a great strategy, provided you have one.  Mining Lasers/S.P.E.W.'s are another O.K. option.

'''Predator''' - The Predator is a four armed flying robot that can shoot either purple lasers or a barrage of orange explosive plasma.  Like the Shard, it will shoot at Glitch while hovering in one spot, but periodically change locations. With the exception of level 14, the player very rarely finds hackable predators. The Predator appears as a scorpion-like creature.

'''Sentry Turrets''' - There are two types of turrets, large and small. The small ones cannot be boarded and must be destroyed like any other enemy. The large turret however can be very useful because although it is a powerful enemy, it can be converted to the player's side with use of the Recruiter Grenade. Otherwise, the player can simply get on the back of it, similar to how you would a vehicle. This can be tricky, however, and often requires the use of an EMP grenade. Both kinds of turret use machine gun fire, but the large kind also uses rockets.

'''Mortars''' - These stationary turrets are only found in one level of the game. They appear as large cannons and fire heavy projectiles.  They project a large, visible reticule on the ground.

These stationary turrets are only found in levels "Hold your Ground" (SP) and "Matt's big Gun Fun" (MP). They appear as large cannons and fire heavy projectiles.  They project a large, visible reticule on the ground.

'''ZombieBots''' - Animated piles of scrap.  They are fairly fast and deadly, attacking using their claws.  They will fall apart and then come back to 'life' once before dying, except when hit by a powerful attack such as Mozer's melee attack.  They are found in the Wastelands, the second Colliseum level, and the ruins of Iron Star.

In Level 6 - "They Live" - Glitch can actually recruit 2 ZombieBots by freeing them from the suspended cages using the Ripper [Red Cable]

'''Zombie-Bot King''' -A Boss-level Zombie-Bot wielding a hammer.
==Zombie-Bot King==
A Boss-level Zombie-Bot wielding a hammer that doubles as a Mace. Glitch must save Mozer from him when he is attacked.

'''Scout''' - Although they pose no direct threat to the player, if they spot Glitch they will alert other Mils. It appears small.
==Scout==
Although they pose no direct threat to the player, these small robots will alert other Mils when they spot Glitch. If a Scout cannot find an alarm, it will charge Glitch and self-destruct.

'''Swarmers''' - These are spiderlike bots that inhabit the underground layers of the Morbot region. As their namesake implies, they attack in large groups.

'''Scientists''' - These Mils are technicians and scientists that will attack you in self-defense by using an electric charge that sucks health away. They can also heal other Mil bots, or even Glitch, if he has used a Recruiter Grenade on them, and so brought them to his side.

'''Spy Droids''' - These are Mils disguised to pass as droids to sneak into Droid Town so that they may report back to the others on its location. They are just as fast as Glitch, and they all wield a Level 1 Rocket Launcher. They are only fought in one level of the game.
