Metroid Prime/Missile Launcher

Template:All Game Nav Welcome to Tallon IV. This is where the rest of the game is set and the first half will be spent retrieving all the equipment you lost in the explosion on the Space Frigate.

Tallon Overworld

Begin by making your way through the left door in the West wall. Follow the lower path until you reach an elevator. Scan the symbol to activate it and ride it up.

Chozo Ruins

Make your way to Main Plaza. Once there, take the right door in the West wall. Follow the path to Ruined Nursery where there is a save station. Continue along the upper path until you reach Hive Totem.

Boss Battle

When you approach the Missile Launcher at the end of the bridge a large machine will lower down on top of it. It will then release some Ram War Wasps - these are the biggest threat. The arena will also flood with acid, so don't fall off.

The Ram War Wasps will try to disorientate you by flying around you in a circle. When they are circling, fire rapidly in this flight path and some shots will hit them. They will also stop for a few seconds before attempting to dive at you. You must shoot the Wasps before they dive. A well-timed jump will result in the Wasps flying under you when they dive.

When all the Wasps are defeated, the Hive Mecha will open a hatch attempting to release more. You must lock onto it and detroy it before it has chance to do so.

You will have to repeat this process two more times (Three in total) to defeat it. Each time it will release more Wasps than the time before.

After the battle collect the Missile Launcher and use it on the Misiile door ahead. Collect the Energy Tank in there.

• Chozo Lore - Fountain (NTSC)/ Beginnings (PAL): Located in Ruins Entrance above the door leading to Main Plaza. (Chozo Ruins)

• Research Scan - Missile Door Lock: First located in Main Plaza over the left door in the West wall (This is a limted time scan). (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - Scarab: First Located in Nursery Access. (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - Eyon: First located in Eyon Tunnel (Hence the name!). (Chozo Ruins)

• Chozo Lore - Exodus (NTSC)/ Harmonization (PAL): Located on the lower level of Ruined Nursery. (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - War Wasp:First located on the upper level of Ruined Nursery. (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - War Wasp Hive: Located on the roof of Ruined Nursery. (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - Plazmite: Located in Totem Access. (Chozo Ruins)

• Research Scan - Large Energy: Intentionally hurt yourself using one of the Plazmites (If you are already injured you do not need to do this. In the middle of the room is a platform with Tangle Weed and a box on it. Inside the one will be a Large Energy. (Chozo Ruins)

• Creatures Scan - Hive Mecha: Located in Hive Totem. (Chozo Ruins)
