Ordyne

Ordyne is a horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game that was released by Namco in 1988 only in Japan. It runs on Namco System 2 hardware.

Introduction

The players must take control of genius scientist Yuichiro Tomari and his assistant Sunday Chin as they attempt to rescue Tomari's fiancee, Kana Aibara, from the evil Dr. Kubota. The enemies all move in preset patterns so as not to make the game confusing, and killing a group of them causes crystals to appear that can be collected and exchanged for special weapons, extra lives or even more crystals at Miyuki Chan's flying store and with Dream Co., Ltd., the flying robot with a rotating target.
