During a hotspring trip to JAPAN, Rance finds himself involved in a civil war in Oda's province, Owari, and is welcomed into the Oda house by the leader, Nobunaga. When Nobunaga welcomes Rance into the Oda House, many retainers of the Oda House rebel. Their excuse for rebelling was that he is a foreigner. In reality though, the rebellion was actually contrived by the Ashikaga House. The captains who rebelled were already on Ashikaga's side, and Nobunaga saw this as a good opportunity to flush out all the disloyal retainers in his house. He was willing to do this even though he would lose half of his captains, as he wanted a secure future for Princess Aroma through loyal retainers. After Rance successfully suppressed the rebellion, Nobunaga made him the secret ruler of Oda to protect Owari and his younger sister. Rance, on the other hand, has the ambition to H every princess in JAPAN, including Oda's own princess. Follow Rance's conquest of JAPAN in Sengoku Rance!
