Chun-Li was one of the original eight selectable World Warriors from the first [[Street Fighter II]]. In the Alpha series prequel, she is depicted as a younger fight who shows a lot of promise as the warrior she will eventually become. She hasn't quite mastered the difficult Spinning Bird Kick, but the development of it can be seen in her Sen'en Shuu attack. Beginning in [[Street Fighter Alpha 2]] players can opt to select her in her original Street Fighter II outfit instead of her Alpha athletic gear.
