First, jump around the platforms and get to the Ice Flower, then get up the platform Baron Brr is on by wall jumping. Now, avoid the ice he shoots at you, but when he snow pounds, jump over the snow and spin at him( you can also do it when he's in the air), then quickly touch him before he falls down. You start on the ring planet again, but this time it has fireballs going around and lava spheres. Follow the ice path, avoiding the fireballs, until you come to a Launch Star in a crystal. Use it to get to the next planet. | |||
You land on the part of the planet with rising and falling freezing water. Jump along the platforms until you come to a green valve. Spin it to make the wall drop, then go along the passageway until you come to the lava side. Go along the path to the left. At some parts, you may need to wait until the lava falls until you can run across. Get to another valve and spin it to make the gate guarding the Fire Flower open. Get the power-up, the quickly run back to the water side and light the two torches. A Launch Star appears when you light them both. | |||
Take the launch to a set of lava and ice platforms. Get the Ice Flower, then jump across the platforms. Ice Mario can freeze lava, so go quickly to prevent your ice flower from running out. There are more along the way for you to refresh your powerup. The star is at the end of the path. | |||
