every time you level you receive 2 attribute points and 3 skillpoints.
when you die you simply loose experience and respawn at your last fountain of rebirth.
Masteries
The 8 Basic Masteries define your characters class. The First Mastery you pick once you hit level 2. A second mastery you can pick at level 8 (although you don't have to go hybrid and stay with just one).
