: addition for demanded detail - Top Right is the only square, Bottom Left is the only "B", Bottom Right is the only yellow.  So nyah. :)

Puzzle of the Week

Sorry about the wait, here is the image, please delete it after viewing:

Sorry--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 11:52, 9 March 2007 (CST)

Again, you misunderstood my puzzle. I specifically stated that the sticks were arranged on a flat surface, not a 3D one. If you could provide another sketch that looks like a cube from a flat surface (I made the original by rotating Word auto shapes), and upload that, I'll be able to see if it does or not. (And remember, it must look like a cube) --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 15:11, 9 March 2007 (CST)

March 22nd

  • EVILS AGENTS - Evangelists
  • REAL FUN - funeral
  • NICE LOVE - violence
  • NO MORE STARS - astronomers

Good job (I'll have to start changing them up a bit if you found my source :P) --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 16:09, 22 March 2007 (CDT)
Didn't find a source, I worked them out. :) -- Mason11987 (Talk - Contributions) 18:17, 27 March 2007 (CDT)

March 31st

This is probably wrong (always is :p) but is "One" the odd one out because it is in words not in numbers--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 14:04, 31 March 2007 (CDT)

Good guess, but no (i reworded the question thanks to you :P). I'll put you on an honorable mentions section just for trying. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 14:07, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
Oh, is it 1243 because if you add up all of the numbers for all of them this is the only one that has an even answer?--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 14:22, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
Gah! This puzzle really sucks. I'm going to give this one to you if nobody comes up with my reason by Wednesday. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 14:57, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
So can I keep guessing?--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 14:59, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
Go for it (and maybe come to irc once in a while, too :) --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 15:01, 31 March 2007 (CDT)
Maybe when I get round to installing an IRC package. Sorry about these, I can't help but be silly coz AFD's approaching:). 3958 - Arrange all of the sets of numbers in order and it's the only one that couldn't be a time in the 24h clock. 1243 - because all of the no.s are one away from each other, 2791 - All of the no.s are odd.--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 15:49, 31 March 2007 (CDT)

You kinda got it. Congrats. I picked 1243 because it was the only one, when not rearranged, that could be represented on a 24 hr. clock. Since you've got something incredibly close, you win. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 15:57, 31 March 2007 (CDT)

19th April

There aren't any oranges because nothing rhymes with orange--Rocky http://media.strategywiki.org/images/thumb/7/78/Rally-X_Rock.png/25px-Rally-X_Rock.png (Talk - Contributions) 00:50, 19 April 2007 (CDT)

WRONG! IN YOUR FACE! :P (just had to do that). It has nothing to do with rhyming, but good guess though. --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 17:26, 19 April 2007 (CDT)

There are 2 oranges because in the string "I saw one weapon, two tissues, three oak trees, four sea shores, and five housewives." There are enough characters to spell it twice. --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:31, 13 May 2007 (CDT)

2 is correct, but the reasoning is a bit off. I'll give it to you (simply because this puzzle really needed to get archived), so check the archives to see the answer (User:Ryan Schmidt/Puzzle Archive Answers) --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 20:35, 13 May 2007 (CDT)
Why subtract 5? --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 20:59, 13 May 2007 (CDT)

May 25th's puzzle

My answer would be the upper left image because, unlike the other three images, the upper left image has one thing in common with all of the other images. The remaining three are each unique in some manner from the rest of the images. Procyon (Talk) 20:24, 25 May 2007 (CDT)

Just tell me how each one is unique, and you'll be correct (and, yes, even the upper-left one is unique). --Ryan SchmidtTalk - Contribs 20:42, 25 May 2007 (CDT)
Now I'm almost certain that I'm wrong, because it can't be this obvious, but it seems like the upper right one is the only square, the lower right is the only yellow object, and the lower left one is the only letter B. The upper left one is unique in that it is the only object that shares both it's color, shape, and letter assignment with at least one of every other object. Procyon (Talk) 21:19, 25 May 2007 (CDT)
I guess to put it another way, the upper left object is unique unto itself because it is the only object that is not unique with respect to it's color, shape, and letter. Procyon (Talk) 21:22, 25 May 2007 (CDT)
