::::I apologize. I suppose I would be better suited for something like that, but I'd much rather work on a more developed wiki for now since the one you brought up is extremely underdeveloped. Would you mind giving me a better idea of what I can and can't do on this wiki (and more so what the image scope is) so I can better operate within its perimeters? I don't want to needlessly cause strife with my edits. Thanks again. GamingBound (talk) 21:49, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

::::::Nintendo Wiki won't get developed unless it actually has people to develop it. Same goes for anywhere, but if you want it to be built up into a good resource, we gotta start somewhere. Trig - 23:17, 15 February 2024 (UTC)

Hello! Should I replace the files for Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, and Mario Bros.? In general, which files can I upload from the Mario Wiki, and which ones can I not? I noticed that some of the files were taken from the Mario Wiki even before I came here, so I wondered what the criteria was for it being acceptable on this wiki. :I would avoid taking files from other wikis in general. They typically are serving as middlemen for file sourcing and not the actual origin of the files. I would suggest one of these four resources first: The Cover Project, MobyGames, Video Games Museum, Amazon. Just be sure to crop down and optimize the files from The Cover Project (use https://tinyjpg.com or https://ezgif.com/optimize ). Ideally, we don't use them as linked sources, but it's not necessarily wrong to have them. Trig - 23:05, 15 February 2024 (UTC)
::Thanks. Is there any way that I could obtain the NSO box arts that Nintendo uses? They are official and of a higher quality/more accurate scan (or at least some of them) than the ones we currently use. GamingBound (talk) 21:15, 18 February 2024 (UTC)
:::Not that I know of. While NSO might be the most modern use of these box arts, I would not prioritize exact identical matching of covers to what they are using. Some releases had multiple covers (both regionally but also of the same title. Off the top of my head, Earthbound with the guide and Kirby's Avalanche (which received a KA release and an E rated release). As long as it is an accurate representation of how someone might be able to buy the game off the shelf (so to speak), I'm not sure it much matters if it directly matches the NSO version. ::::Thanks again. EarthBound came without a guide? I thought all US versions contained the player's guide.GamingBound (talk) 15:14, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
:::::I'm not 100% sure. Just trying to give some examples for the fact. Trig - 03:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)

Should we include one of those flyers for the EarthBound page? Found another one here: https://gamesdb.launchbox-app.com/games/images/1529-earthbound On another note, any place where I could find clean, transparent sprites for the Mother page? Thanks for your time. GamingBound (talk) 15:17, 19 February 2024 (UTC)
:Flyers are not particularly in scope. This is more appropriate for WikiBound to have. Speaking of which, if they don't have sprites you are looking for, The Spriters Resource or Starman.net may have some. Trig - 03:13, 20 February 2024 (UTC)
