Baltron is a shooter game that plays a bit like a cross between Defender and Super Cobra. The ship you controls moves at a different speed depending on how far you travel across the screen. shoots, while 's function differs depending on which direction you press. Pressing or with will change your direction. Pressing and releases a smart bomb, and pressing with starts a Warp. There is stage boss if you travel far enough to the right, and the game continues again at a harder level of difficulty.
