I don't know much but I taught you all I know. Here's my S-Uzi Machine Gun - plus a Special Token for your trouble. |
You can now collect Token 13, and you've earned $20,000 by completing the Tutorial! Once you have $1,000,000:
Guide
You did it! Follow the big pink marker to leave the Downtown District! |
Weapons[edit]
Ammo expires when used but it always respawns and you can get more there. Maximum at one time is 99.
- S-Uzi Machine Gun: Go to any phone with missions. The Uzis respawn.
- Silenced S-Uzi Machine Gun: In a building in Loony territory. Outside the Loony HQ to the west. It's next to token 33 and respawns after a few seconds.
- Rocket Launcher: Funabashi. Enter the big building (the J-lab) southwest of the yellow Yakuza phones (further south of the green ones). Climb onto the roof and follow a long path to get to some boxes. The rocket launcher is on top of one. It respawns after some time so you can leave the PC alone for a few minutes while standing on the respawn spot.
Final Job![edit]
The final job starts automatically after completing all 21 jobs for the three gangs. You only have one chance to pass this job: if you fail then you can quit and resume saved status to repeat the final gang job(s). For this reason, saving one of the quicker and easier jobs for last is recommended.
If the Bosses aren't in their own territory then they may drive Bensons instead of a gang vehicle. If you don't destroy their vehicles then once they exit two Pistol shots or equivalent damage will kill them, but the bonus for killing each individually is the same as any normal pedestrian. If you use a Flamethrower then they keep attacking as they burn, so take evasive action. Better yet, just use a vehicle to run over them.
The Yakuza Boss drives a black Miara and he's armed with a S-Uzi Machine Gun:
The Zaibatsu Boss drives a Z-Type and he's also armed with a S-Uzi Machine Gun:
The Loony Boss drives a black Dementia and he's armed with a Flamethrower, so if you don't have Invisibility or Invulnerability* active then it's best to keep him at a distance while using longer-range weapons, or just run over him with a vehicle. If you're burning, you can still pass this job if you're the last to be wasted.
You earn a $60,000 (x Multiplier) bonus, and your bonus multiplier increases by 1.
Guide
Shit, kid, you beat them all! Here's some advice - move on to the Residential District before the shit really hits the fan. |
If you haven't already done so, then collect all Tokens and save before leaving the Area to unlock Bonus Stages A-C (you can also pass all Kill Frenzies).
You can now play next area, resume saved status, replay previous area, continue to play one of the Bonus Stages, or go back to main menu.
If you start play in next area and then save, this overwrites your Area 1 save. You can still start play in Area 1 again, but if you want to keep playing from where you left then you'll need to backup your players folder beforehand: this can be found in GTA2's installation directory, but in later versions of Windows it may be hidden in Drive:/Users/User name/AppData/Local/VirtualStore (open the players folder in the GTA2 directory and check date modified to see whether those files have actually been used).
