Gold Bricks are the main collectible in LEGO City Undercover. There are 450 Gold Brick in total.
Unlike other Lego Games, Gold Bricks cannot be found just lying around in secret locations in Lego City. Instead, they are almost all tied to other things you can find, hunt accomplish or build.
Here is a list of how all the Gold Bricks can be found:
Missions / Special Assignments[edit]
45 Gold Bricks can be collected during the Special Assignments.
There are 15 Special Assignments and 1 Gold Bricks is given for finishing the Level, getting Lego City Hero and getting the Full Police Badge.
Police Station[edit]
The Police Station is the main Hub of Lego City. Ten Gold Bricks can be found here. (These are the only Gold Bricks that can be 'found')
Main Floor[edit]
- Build and take a ride in the Toy Car in the Bottom Right Corner.
- Destroy stuff around the room and use it build 4 pictures of the Chief.
- Use the dynamite dispenser on the left of the main Computer to blow up the Shiny piece on the right (Req: Miner)
Briefing Room[edit]
- Order some Popcorn right next to the elevator.
- Break open the room next to the elevator, bring the box to the Green Plate and build. (Req: Robber)
Basement[edit]
- Destroy the Box in the Identification Room
- Destroy the Box in the Vehicle Area
- Destroy the Box in the Red Brick Area
- Destroy the Box in the Gold Brick Area (Req: Construction Worker)
- Break op the door by the left Staircase (Req: Fireman)
Shop[edit]
16 Bricks can be bought at the Gold Brick Terminal in the Basement of the Police Station. To get into this area you need the Construction Worker to repair the electric panel, so this won't be available until late in the game. The combined cost is around 10M studs, which should not be an issue if you got the multiplier Bricks and saved your money.
Collectibles[edit]
All the other Gold Bricks can be collected by completing the various missions, fetch quests and collectible hunts in Lego City. Some of these are accomplished during the main Story.
- 65 Gold Bricks for Super Builds (including Helipads and Vehicle Call Stations)
- 14 Gold Bricks for activating Train Stations.
- 19 Gold Bricks for accomplishing Free Runs.
- 16 Gold Bricks for winning Vehicle Races.
- 17 Gold Bricks for Building Disguise Booth.

Astronaut Missions[edit]

Farmer Missions[edit]
- 20 Gold Bricks for watering Flowerpots.
- 22 Gold Bricks for finding Pigs.
Fireman Missions[edit]
