DK Jungle[edit]

The track passes through a jungle, where some Barrels appear. After going out of the jungle the drivers have to bounce on a large, red flower to land in a path near waterfalls and a lake. Some enemies move on the track, and must be avoided. Then it continues in a second jungle, similar to the first with giant leaping frogs, before going in the Golden Temple. Then the drivers have to glide over a lake where several pillars stay and once in a while scream shooting out air to blow back gliding players. Finally they land and rejoin the first jungle.

Shortcuts[edit]

Rosalina's Ice World[edit]

The first lap is the only one where you can avoid going underwater. Afterwards, one of the ice panels above the water will disapper, forcing players to submerge. The only exception is if the player has a mushroom, which allows them to barely get across the gap.

Shortcuts[edit]

Inside the ice cave, you'll spot a narrow path that splits off to the right. This way is lined with boost pads, but you'll have to risk falling off the edge. Staying left is the safe bet, but a successful run through the right path can shave off precious seconds from your lap.

Bowser's Castle[edit]

Shortcuts[edit]

Halfway through the lap, you'll encounter a pair of Thwomps guarding a hallway. Just before the second one, look to the left to spot a ramp that leads over the lava. This allows you to go over the spinning tunnel.

Rainbow Road[edit]

This version of Rainbow Road, like the Wuhu courses, is one lap with three sections. First off, the players drive on a planet's ring, allowing for jumps and boosts. After another planet's rings, players bounce on a mushroom. Next is a glider section, after which players land on another planet's rings and have to avoid holes. After the holes, they can take advantage of boost pads. After a few twists and turns, featuring potentially useful yet dangerous boost pads, a waving road with holes appears. After falling through one of the holes, the player lands on the moon below, and has to drive through bumpy terrain while avoiding Chain Chomps. The third section features a spinning tunnel full of boost pads to exploit, and can potentially end with a gliding section. Using the rings, one can fly over the next part of the course. After a 180 degree turn to the right and a 90 degree turn to the left, the race ends.
