Boss: Copy Robot[edit]

The Copy Robot is a duplicate of whichever character you're playing as.

Copy Mega Man[edit]

Stun weapons: None (when using Mega Buster; other weapons have the corresponding stun weapons for the Robot Master)

Unlike in the first game, Copy Mega Man can switch to other weapons by himself. When he's using a Robot Master weapon, he takes the same parameters as it's owner (for example, when he uses Hyper Bomb, he'll be weak to Rolling Cutter and resistant to Ice Slasher and Hyper Bomb, just like Bomb Man). When Copy Mega Man uses Thunder Beam, you need to crash into him with your Oil Slider. Simply firing an oil glob is not enough.

Copy Mega Man uses Special Weapons only on Easy and Normal. On Hard, he runs across the room while using Charge Shots and jumping after you shoot. Also on Normal, Copy Mega Man copies your movement in reverse (runs in the opposite direction and jumps after you do). On Easy, he only copies your jumps.

Note: The following chart only applies if Copy Mega Man is using the Mega Buster. For the other weapons, use the exact same chart of the Robot Master whom the weapon belongs to.

Copy Roll[edit]

Stun weapons: None

Copy Roll likes to run toward you and use the double-swing, apparently unaware that your temporary invincibility will make the second swing useless. The same goes for her, so don't make the same mistake. The key here is jump swings. When she runs toward you, jump over her, turn in mid-air, and whack her from behind right before you land. The landing lets you instantly recover from the swing, so immediately run away before she can counter-attack. If she starts jumping toward you, run under her, turn, make a short jump, and strike from behind, then run away.

Copy Robot Masters[edit]

When you fight Copy Robot as any Robot Master, he uses exactly the same fighting style as a boss version of your character. Since Robot Masters are resistant to their own weapons, you'll be doing only 1 damage to each other. Here are some notes:

  • Guts Man: Your Guts Man cannot be stunned by Copy Guts Man's earthquake.
  • Ice Man: When Copy Ice Man summons icicles during his critical attack, your Ice Slasher will be able to go through them, as well as his.
  • Time Man: When you use Time Slow after Copy Time Man has done so, his Time Slow will be cancelled and he will move at normal speed.
