Area 1[edit]

After the drop, Tyrannosaurus Rex is the first enemy out encounter. He has a short-range fire breath, and takes three hits to kill. When you need to get past them, make one or two attacks before falling back. The third attack is made once you at least got a bit of distance.

The corridor ahead contains stalactites which drip water. They would be easily dodged, but there is also another Tyrannosaurus Rex that attacks while going through this area.

The next section contains Minotaurs, which will pause a distance away before making a fast charge. However, the main threat is the combination of the crushing floor, which forces you to crouch to avoid the ceiling spikes.

The flying enemy you encounter is called a Great Beast. It flyes back and forth, but is very dangerous because of its downward beam attack. It requires three hits to defeat. The main difficulty is dodging the initial attack, as the evasion window is extremely tight. Once you do, there's a short opportunity where you can land the necessary hits before it can return to the right of the screen. Note that it becomes difficult to pursue once it reaches the right half, as the level will scroll along with the beast.

At the end of this area is a blue-brick area. This is an elevator that leads down, with three sets of three windows. Behemoths will jump out of the windows and attack. You can defend against them by staying next to of one window, where the attack covers one of the behemoth as it falls. When the other two in a wave approach, simply stand and attack to destroy the other two.

The tyrannasaur makes the appearance at the final leg of the stage.

Area 2 - Boss rush[edit]

You new need to fight each boss encountered previously. Tactics are the same, for each boss fight, except that taking damage to save time is much more dangerous.

  • Spring-Heeled Jack appears first by flickering in, and waits for a few seconds before he starts his pattern. He appears on the right-side of the screen. As previously, he makes three jumps, and throws a fan of three knives during the jump.
  • Bigfoot can be safely attacked twive before he does a charge.
  • Kraken arrives by two splashes, and can be safely attacked twice after he first lowers the tentacle. Attacking from the right also gives a bit more opportunities to inflict damage.
  • Gremlin arrives by crane, lobs a fan of four attacks. You can jump over him,and the most dangerous part of the pattern is his movement from the right.
  • Medusa shows five copies of herself. Try targetting the two outside images for an early hit, and see if you can get the guaranteed hit as she advances.

After the series of five bosses, you fight against the Warlock.

His attack pattern is simple. He will telerport in and out. When at the top of the screen, he will make a lightning attack.

It is best to attack him once when as soon as he appears. When he raises his rod for the lightning attack, make a diagonal jump away from the warlock to avoid the bolt.

The warlock is defeated after 25 hits.

Boss - Warlock[edit]

After defeating the warlock, you will fight against the warlock. He appears on the television screen, boasting that he is much more powerful than you thought, and will destroy you.

He will enter focus. After waiting a few seconds, he will fire two shots from his eyes - if they hit the ground, they will spawn two Wendigos that are tough to kill, but move slowly.

If the wendigos spawn, it's best to jump diagonally away. Even better is to stream the warlock's projectiles to the side, where they fly off screen without creating a monster - you can do so by a single jump and attack after he enters focus, and a double-jump and a second attack at the apex of the jump. If timed correctly, the eyes will flash when you're at the top, and the projectiles simply fly to the side.

The warlock is defeated again after 17 hits. After defeating the warlock, the credits will roll, ending the game with the Konami logo.
