Ringtown Ranger Base[edit]

Reaching Ranger Rank 6

You've cleared your mission AND you were able to deal with the Go-Rock Squad on top of it! Congratulations, your Ranger Rank is now 6! You can now use the Flying Assist.

Spenser says that you should relax a bit after all the stress, but you shouldn't stray too far from town, in case a mission appears. Head out of the base.

Grassland Challenge[edit]

Since you can't leave town, there's not really much else to do than participate in the Capture Challenge, located in the top right of town. You must capture as many Pokémon as you can in 3 minutes. Also you can't use any Poké Assists. Each Pokémon have different point values, and your goal is to beat Joel's record of 5000 points. Below is the listing of each currently available Pokémon as well as their point values and requirements if needed.

Afterwards, head back to the Base, and Solana/Lunick will tell you Spenser was looking for you, and that they've been stationed at Summerland. Head into the base.

The Wayward Wanderer[edit]

Spenser informs you that an esteemed elder needs help in Lyra Forest. He wants you to find the lost man and bring him to a safe place. Head out of the base and into Lyra Forest.

Lyra Forest[edit]

Starting Mission 6

You'll find Solana/Lunick, and they say they want to go with you before heading off to Summerland. Head up and you'll find a dad, who seems to have lost track of his daughter and her two Jigglypuff. You say that you'll find her as you are going deeper into the forest. Keep heading up until Solana/Lunick stops you and pulls you to the side to show you the correct way to go. She says this part of the forest is called Labyrinth Grove as it's easy to get lost there. You'll also see a Jigglypuff come from there, leading you into the grove. Head left and cross over the bridge then go down through the grass and continue to find a new Pokémon, Marshtomp.

Afterwards, go back up and into Labyrinth Grove.

Labyrinth Grove[edit]

The missing girl with a Jigglypuff

You'll find a girl with a Jigglypuff. She's crying because her other Jigglypuff went into the deepest part of the grove. Solana/Lunick will stay with the girl while you go capture the Jigglypuff to bring it back to the girl. There are a couple new Pokémon in this area. Go to the left and until you find a Phanpy. Capture it as you will need its field move later on. Go back and go up the first path to find a Cyndaquil and Ivysaur.

Here you will find the girl's Jigglypuff so capture it. Afterwards, you can bring another Phanpy to the tree closer to the middle of the area to find another new Pokémon, Ninjask. Watch out, as despite only taking a single loop, it's very evasive and hard to catch, so use a Cyndaquil's Poké Assist if needed to startle it. The tree on the left side just contains another Beedrill.

Take the Beedrill to the right side of the grove and use its Field Move to break the small rock to find a Wartortle.

After you've finished capturing everything, go take Jigglypuff to the girl. She'll thank you and Solana/Lunick take her and the Jigglypuff back to her father. The girl will mention an older man who yelled at her Jigglypuff, scaring it.

Bringing back the girl's Jigglypuff

After they leave, go left then up until you see a path on the left to the next screen. You'll see a small shrine which gives thanks to the spirit and life that fills the forest. If you continue walking left, you'll get a message from Spenser, telling you that the old man got lost because of Weepinbell chasing him around the forest. He informs you that they'll kick any intruder out of the woods. Keep going left to the next screen.

You'll find a couple new Pokémon here, including Weepinbell. Sneak up on the Weepinbell from behind or it will send you back to the beginning of the grove.

Go left and follow the path all the way down to find a Weepinbell and continue down to find a Swellow.

Go back then up to the left in the area with the sign go down the left bottom path and continue going down then go straight and up to the next screen. Follow the path then jump down the cliff to find Gordor, the old man you were looking for.

Finding Gordor lost in the forest

He scolds the Ranger Union for taking so long to find him then he scolds you for being a mere child. He then asks you to escort him out of the forest. Before you leave, there is another new Pokémon to the left, Quilava.

After the capture, go up and you will here a Murkrow. Gordor thinks it is mocking him for getting lost in the forest. He then yells at it and scares it away.

Use Quilava's field move to burn the fallen log so you can move up and go to the next screen. Continue going up and be wary of the many Beedrill that will attack you. Continue on the path onto the next screen. Continue going straight and you'll find another new Pokémon, Hoppip.

Go back to where you found the Nincada and take the upper path to the next screen. Then take the lower path to the next screen to find the heckling Murkrow again which jumps into the tree. Gordor mentions a dark haze and to get him out of the forest immediately. Capture a Phanpy and use its Field Move to knock the Murkrow out of the tree then capture it. It will heckle you and call for four Spinarak to help it.

Once the Murkrow is captured the haze will disappear. Gordor then tells you to stop wasting his time and get him out of the forest. Take the path down to the next screen and you will be back at the shrine and run into a Go-Rock grunt who just ends up leaving right away. Gordor says he knows the rest of the way and says you were successful and leaves.
