Sculptured Software was founded by Bryan Brandenburg, George Metos and Peter Adams in 1984. It was incorporated in the State of Utah on July 12, 1985 by George Metos with two investors (Michael Macris and Robert Burgener). They specialized in porting games to different platforms, especially from arcade games to home console games.
Sculptured Software Inc. was acquired by Acclaim Entertainment on October 9, 1995, and renamed Acclaim Studios. The studio was closed down in 2002.
