The game has a non-linear course. You will have to explore different areas, made up of many contiguous screens, within which you will have to make your way, finding the items that will allow you to progress and avoiding being seen by the enemies who patrol them. Typically, the various areas of the game are connected to each other by side scrolling areas. There may also be more ways to progress within the same area and on more than one occasion it is necessary to return to areas you have already passed through. However, there are also points in the game which, once passed, you will never be able to go back.
