Below is the list of enemies you can encounter inside the castle. Keep in mind that the same category of enemies can behave differently. There are enemies that move according to predefined paths, enemies that move randomly and enemies that will come in your direction and will try to attack you as soon as you enter the room. However, a contact with any of these enemies (unless you are protected with a Blue Potion) will always result in you losing a life. There is no way to kill these enemies unless you take them out with a Purple Potion (see the relevant section for more information).

BOW-LEGGED TROLLS These enemies almost always move along a predefined path, they are therefore easy to avoid. They can sometimes be used to reach otherwise inaccessible areas by jumping on them and using a block or a Blue Potion for protection.
SLIME BALLS They move slowly, jerky and usually at random. You can also jump over them. Easy to avoid.
SPIKY BALLS They move vertically. You can generally walk under them when they are at the highest point, or jump over them when they are at the lowest point.
EVIL EYEBALLS They usually move along narrow paths and according to a predefined path, but if they are in large spaces, they can also come towards you, attacking you. They are quite fast.
ATTACK FURS These worm-like creatures can be jumped over and are generally fairly easy to avoid. The problem is that they often attack in groups.
MARCHING SKULLS They can have a predefined path, but they can also move randomly or attack you, just like the Evil Eyeballs.
TUSK DEMONS They move fast and usually come in your direction as soon as you enter the room. Quite insidious. Try to stay at a distance.
TRIPOD SPIDERS They are quite rare enemies and similar to the previous ones: they are aggressive and try to reach you as soon as they see you.
FOUR-EYED HEAD-FEET They are aggressive enemies and will attack you immediately. They appear only in a single room of the castle, in the Mines of Insanity.
