This section shows the walkthrough of the game. However, since the game offers total freedom of movement within the fortress from the start, without any subdivision by levels, it is not necessary to follow this order. Below is only a good strategy to complete the game 100% in a not too long time. However, if you want, you can also follow a different order. Also, in order to finish the game, it is not necessary to go into all the rooms and collect all the items, so if you are not interested in reaching 100% there are of course other quicker strategies. The numbering of the rooms is completely arbitrary.

Main Castle[edit]

(1) Go up the steps and take the door to the northeast. (2) Exit northwest. (3) Avoid the trolls and reach the northwest exit, perhaps using the disappearing squares. (4) Exit southwest. (5) Avoid the trolls and exit southeast. (6) Go back. (5) This time, take the southwest exit. (7) Exit southwest. (8) Exit southwest. (9) Use the two floating blocks to climb up the barrel and collect the first Magic Key. Then go back. (8) This time, exit southeast. (10) Use the 2 blocks inside the room to reach the northeast exit. (11) Avoid the slime balls and exit southeast. (12) Use the two blocks to reach the southeast exit. Note: If you didn't get the key in room 9, the blocks will not appear, preventing you from proceeding. (13) Collect the coin and exit southeast. (14) Exit northeast.

(15) Here you will have to pass the first puzzle of the game. You'll notice the Magic Boots on a platform to the left, while much of the room's floor is covered with spikes. There are two ways to get to the boots. If you don't want to use potions, you can pick up the blue block and climb up the squares against the northeast wall. When the troll walking on the floor with the spikes passes close to you, you will have to jump on its head, but at the same time drop the block, in order to protect yourself. In this way, protected by the block, the troll will lead you near the conveyor belt on the northwest wall. Jump on the conveyor belt and carefully reach the boots. Be careful not to fall on the spikes, or you will lose a life. Alternatively, you can activate a Yellow Potion as soon as you enter the room and pick up the block. At this point, you can jump, dropping the block while you are in the air. You will notice that, thanks to the Yellow Potion, the block will remain suspended. By pressing buttons A and B at the same time, you can jump and pick up the block at the same time, then repeat the process. This way, you can easily reach the boots without having to jump on the troll. This strategy is probably the least risky. Anyway, once you grab the boots, take a long jump southeast to reach the safe floor and exit the room.

(14) Thanks to the Magic Boots you just obtained, you can reach the southwest exit. (16) Quite treacherous room. You will have to go up to the green moving platform on the right. When it reaches the right corner of the room, jump southwest and land on the blue platform. So calculate the length of the jump well, to avoid ending up on the spikes below. Then take the exit on the northwest wall. (17) Exit northwest. (18) Use the green platform to reach the floating block in the center of the room. Then quickly take a long jump and exit northwest. (19) Use the block on the path to reach the platforms to the northeast. You will have to pick it up, jump, then drop the block and jump at the same time. It is advisable to familiarize yourself with this technique, because it will be very useful for the rest of the game. Grab the Green Potion and ignore the exit next to it. Go back down and exit southwest. (20) This room seems impossible to overcome at first sight, but in reality there are invisible squares at regular intervals. You can use a Green Potion to reveal them, but you can also just jump on them. Exit northwest. (21) Exit northwest. Here too there are 2 invisible squares, which make the jump shorter and feasible. If you are unsure, you can activate a Green Potion the first time to see them. (22) In the left corner you will notice a 1-Up hat. To get it, pick up the block in the center of the room and jump on the elevator in the right corner. From here, jump to the top corner, quickly passing the disappearing square. Then go down, carefully passing the conveyor belt and dropping the block to protect yourself from pyramid spikes. Pick up the hat, jump back onto the block and from here back to the floor. Exit northeast. (23) This room can be overcome with blocks, but for now it is not convenient for you. Go back. (22) Exit southeast and go all the way back to room 20. (20) Exit southeast this time. (24) Here too there are invisible squares, which they will uncover with a Green Potion. Use them to reach the southeast exit. (25) Use the floating block to reach the southeast exit.

(26) You have arrived in the first tower of the game, and you will have to solve a puzzle. Use the elevator in the lower corner to go upstairs. (27) Quickly climb the squares to the left, paying attention to the conveyor belts and ignoring the blocks. You will then go up to the upper floor. (28) You will land on a disappearing square, then immediately jump southeast to another disappearing square and then a solid square. There are invisible squares, at regular intervals, which will allow you to reach the one on the northeastern wall: activate a Green Potion if you want, to see them. Once on the square, jump northwest, aiming for the space between the two windows. You will land in the previous room (27), right on the square in front of the door. Exit northeast. (29) On a rise you will find the first piece of the staff! Grab it and then go to the top corner of the room, the hidden one. You will fall down into a hidden hole. (30) You will fall down, do not move from that position! (31) You will end up on a square with a hat. Grab it and go down again. (32) Fall down, to enter the Caves of the Doomed Souls.

Caves of the Doomed Souls[edit]

(33) Exit southeast. (34) Avoid the Evil Eyeballs and exit southeast. (35) Jump over the spiky balls while they are at the lowest point and exit to the southeast (fear not: the clear squares will not disappear). (36) Ignore the bombs below and exit southeast. (37) Exit quickly to the southeast, to avoid the worms. (38) Jump over the spikes and exit southeast. (39) Here you will find a crystal ball for the first time, but it will be of little use to you. Follow the path and exit southwest. (40) Enemies can't touch you, exit northwest. (41) Here you can make a very fruitful short detour. You will need to enter one of the three holes in the floor. To do this, destroy the three spiky balls with a Purple Potion, or make yourself invulnerable with a Blue Potion. (42) Go to the detonator in the top corner and press it. Then exit northwest. (43) Ignore the skeleton and go up the steps to go up to the room above. (44) Use the three blocks to safely cross the pyramid spikes. (36) As you can see, the bombs exploded, creating a new passage. Exit northeast. (45) Climb the squares by jumping over the spiky balls. Pay attention to the last one, which moves higher than the others. (46) Collect the two hats, then go up the green elevator to go up to the room above. (47) Collect 2 more hats and the Yellow Potion. Then exit southwest. (48) Jump down. (37) Quickly exit southeast, avoiding the worms. (38) Take a long jump avoiding the platforms and exit southwest. (41) This time, take the southeast exit. (49) Very treacherous room. You will have to jump carefully on the conveyor belts, avoiding ending up on the spikes. The second conveyor belt in front of you, among other things, will disappear as soon as you get on it, then quickly jump forward. You will have to jump and change direction while you are in the air, to reach the last conveyor belts and the northwest exit. The best thing is to get through this room by jumping continuously. (50) Avoid the trolls and take a jump in order to land exactly in the center of the room, where there is no floor. (51) You will land on a platform with a Blue Potion - pick it up. Then take a long jump to pass the spikes and land on the edge of the room. Use the pink elevator to go back upstairs. (50) Exit southwest. Note: the next part of the caves is a real maze and it's easy to get lost. It is not necessary to enter all the rooms to proceed with the game, but if you want to get 100% you will have to explore them all. Additionally, there are several items to collect.

(52) Exit northwest. (53) Exit northeast. (54) Exit northwest. (55) Take the southwest exit. (56) Exit northwest. (57) Exit southwest. (58) Take the southeast exit. (59) Exit southwest. (60) Exit northwest. (61) Exit northwest. (62) Exit southwest. (63) Here you will find the second piece of the staff. Grab it and go back. (62) Exit southeast. (61) Exit northeast. (58) Exit northeast. (57) Exit southeast. (56) Exit northeast. (55) This time, exit northeast. (64) Exit northeast. (65) Exit northeast. (66) Get the coin and exit northwest. (67) Exit southwest. (68) Exit southwest. (69) Take the southwest exit. (70) Exit northwest. (71) Exit northwest. (72) Exit southwest. (73) Get the Purple Potion and go back. Go back to room 69 (you can't go wrong) and this time go northwest. (74) Take the northwest exit. (75) Climb up the portal and press the B Button to teleport. (76) Exit southwest. (77) Exit southwest. (78) Exit northwest. (79) Take the southwest exit. (80) Exit southwest. (81) Exit southeast. (82) Exit northeast. (83) Exit southeast. (84) Exit southeast. (85) Go back and then go all the way back to room 79. (79) This time, go northwest. (86) Take the southwest exit. (87) Exit southwest. (88) Pick up the hat and then go back to room 86. (86) This time, go northwest. (89) Exit northeast. (90) Take the northwest exit. (91) Collect the Blue Potion and go back. (90) This time, exit southeast. (92) Exit northeast. (93) Take the southeast exit. (94) Take the southwest exit. (95) Dead end: go back. (94) This time, exit northeast. (96) Exit southeast. (97) Exit southeast. (98) Exit southeast. (99) Go back to room 94. (94) Exit northwest. (93) Exit northwest this time. (100) Take the northeast exit. (101) Exit northeast. (102) Exit southeast. (103) Exit southeast. (104) take the southeast exit. (105) Exit southeast. (106) Take the southeast exit. (107) Dead end: go back. (106) This time, exit northeast. (108) Take the northwest exit. (109) Exit northwest. (110) Exit southwest to return to room 104. (104) Exit northwest. (103) Exit northwest. (102) Exit southwest. (101) Exit southwest. (100) This time, take the northwest exit. (111) Collect the second Magic Key and exit northwest. (112) Finally some action. Avoid the trolls and reach the northwest exit. (113) This room seems unsurpassable, but in reality there is an invisible square right in the center. Use it to reach the northwest exit. (114) You will find yourself on an elevator. Jump carefully onto the other elevator in front of you, avoiding ending on the spikes. Then wait until the third elevator has lowered and the one you are currently on has risen sufficiently. Then take a long leap to reach the third mobile block and from there the northwest exit. (115) Climb the steps to finally exit the caves and reach the gardens.

Garden of Pain and Blood Garden[edit]

(116) Exit northeast. (117) You will land on a moving platform, immediately go back with a small jump. (116) This time, go northwest. (118) Exit northwest. (119) Head immediaetly northeast to pass under the Marching Skulls that will fall from above and take the exit. (120) Take the southeast exit. (121) Go back. (120) Place the two blocks on the square in the center and use them to reach the northeast exit. (122) Move carefully on the conveyor belts and reach the northeast exit. If you get on the squares jump immediately, because two out of three are pitfalls that disappear. (123) You will have to cross this room by walking clockwise at the right speed, being careful not to touch the Evil Eyeballs, until you reach the southeast exit. (124) Wait for the zombie to drop the hat on his head hitting the squares, pick it up and exit northeast. (125) Push the crystal ball in front of you northeast and quickly climb up to cross the room. Then jump right to reach the southeast exit. Note: If you haven't collected the Magic Key in the caves, this exit will not appear. (126) Go back. (125) Use the crystal ball to reach the other two exits and take the one to the northeast. (127) Jump carefully from one conveyor belt to another, avoiding falling on the spikes. It is better to cross the room counterclockwise, jumping continuously, until you reach the northwest exit. (128) Wait until one of the two moving blocks is low enough, then go up on the conveyor belt and from there on the elevator, to reach the medal. Take it, then go back down and exit and northwest. (129) Exit southwest. (130) Immediately grab the block below you, jump to the disappearing squares to the right and from there to the pyramid spikes, dropping the block to protect yourself. Then jump on the other disappearing squares and reach the northwest exit. If you are in trouble you can also use a Yellow Potion, to immobilize the block and take no chances. (131) Don't worry, the floor is solid. Exit southwest. (132) This room is full of dangers. For now, reach the southeast exit, avoiding the Marching Skull, but be careful: the penultimate square will disappear when you climb on it. (133) Reach the southeast exit, carefully passing under the spiky balls. (134) Collect the Green Potion and exit northeast, under the conveyor belts. (135) Go back and go all the way back to room 132. (132) You will now have to reach the upper southwest exit. You can help yourself with a Blue or Purple Potion, to neutralize the enemies, but if you observe their movements carefully, you can pass over the same. Be warned though: the second step on the northeast staircase will disappear when you step on it, and some squares on the northwest wall are actually disguised conveyor belts, which could cause you to fall on the spikes. A very sneaky trap, but luckily it's the only one in the game. Reach the exit. (136) Jump and exit southwest. (137) Jump down and exit southeast. (138) To get the hat, you'll need to quickly jump on it as soon as you enter the room. Then, quickly jump from the conveyor belt to the normal squares. You can make things easier by immobilizing the hat with a Yellow Potion, but keep in mind that the conveyor belt will not stop. Then, go back. (137) Use the block to reach the door above. You will have to jump and grab the block twice at the same time, as previously done. It is not impossible. (136) Jump down and exit northwest. (139) Climb to the top of the pyramid avoiding the monsters. The top square will disappear, revealing a hat beneath it. Take it, then exit northeast. (140) Exit northwest. (141) Immediately jump to the squares in the lower corner and from there to those in the left corner. Take a long jump to climb the floating block and reach the northeast exit. (142) Avoid the worms and exit northeast. (143) You will notice a portal, which is however unreachable. Go back and do the reverse to room 139. (139) Exit southeast this time. (144) Reach the northwest exit. You cannot pass over the spiky ball, but activating a Green Potion will reveal a hidden block. (145) Exit northwest avoiding the Evil Eyeballs. (146) Go up the green elevator and from there reach the transparent squares in the lower corner. Make them disappear and pick up nearby block. Go back to the elevator and when it is at the highest point, take a long jump to the northwest, dropping the block and jumping again when you start falling. You will then be able to reach the northeast exit. (147) You will notice the third piece of the staff over a wall. You can reach it with a Blue Potion, by jumping on the worm, but there is a better path, not to use potions. Go back. (146) This time, exit northwest. (148) Jump to the green moving platform, the one below. When the pink platform approaches, jump to get on it. You will thus be able to reach the third Magic Key. After getting it, go back.

(146) Use the block in the left corner to get past the pyramid spikes. Grab the block by jumping at the same time, then drop the block by jumping at the same time. Then do the same thing with the other block to overcome the disappearing squares. Then exit southeast. (145) Exit southeast. (144) Take the southeast exit. (149) Avoid the worms and exit southwest. (150) Exit southeast, jumping over the slime balls. (151) Use the gray block to protect yourself from the pyramid spikes, then go up the elevator and exit southeast. (120) Exit northeast. (122) Exit carefully to the northeast. (123) Enter the new door on the northwest wall (if you didn't get the key earlier this door will not appear). (152) Use the portal to teleport. (143) Exit southwest. (147) Pick up the third staff piece and exit southeast. (153) Collect the Purple Potion then go back. (147) This time, go northwest. (154) Use the two blocks to jump over the wall and get the medal. Then exit southwest. (155) Jump very carefully from platform to platform and exit southwest. (148) Exit southeast. (146) Exit southeast, as you did before. (145) Exit southeast. (144) Exit southeast. (149) Exit southwest. (150) Exit southeast. (151) Exit southeast. (120) Exit northeast. (122) Exit northeast. (123) This time, exit southeast. (124) Exit southeast. (156) Avoid the enemies and exit southeast.

Back to the Main Castle[edit]

(157) You will notice that you have returned to the main castle. Get the medal and exit southeast. (158) Take the southwest exit. (159) Go back (continuing, you would return to room 23). (158) This time, take the northeast exit. (160) Exit northeast. (161) Exit northeast. (162) You have arrived at the second tower of the game. Jump into the hole in the center first. (163) Avoid the aggressive Eyeballs and use the ladder to return upstairs. (162) Use the elevator in the corner to reach the upper floor. (164) Nothing to do here for now. Let the elevator take you to the room above. (165) When the elevator reaches its highest point, jump to the southeast, constantly moving in this direction as you fall. (164) Keep heading southeast and you should land on the square in the lower corner. Collect the block and then quickly jump on the disappearing squares to reach the top corner. Drop the block and use it to reach the top square. Then use the blue and yellow block to go up to the upper room. (165) You will find yourself on a suspended square. Grab the Blue Potion nearby, then drop into the first tower room you entered. (162) This time, exit southeast.

(166) To overcome this room it is practically essential to use a Purple or Blue Potion to overcome the enemies and reach the southeast exit. (167) Take the southeast exit. (168) Go under the spiky ball and exit southeast. (169) Push the crystal ball and use the block to reach the southeast exit (watch out for the troll). (170) A large treacherous room, with three randomly moving enemies and many pyramid spikes. By consulting the map you will discover that it has a white border: there is in fact another room below. If you are in urgent need of a Blue or Yellow Potion you can access it right away, otherwise you better wait as you will have to go through this room again later. Anyway, to go down you will have to jump on the pyramid spikes further to the right, which will disappear. (171) You will end up in an underground room, with a Blue Potion and a Yellow Potion on a raised platform and a hat that will fall from above, near you. You will have to move quickly to the southeast, so that the hat falls on your head. If that doesn't happen, go back upstairs using the ladder and try again. When the hat has dropped on your head, move to the ledge where the potions are, and jump to get rid of the hat. Push the hat close to the rise and jump on it. You can then reach the potions and collect them. When you are done, grab the hat and go back upstairs, using the ladder. (170) Reach the southwest exit, avoiding the enemies. (172) To get through the room, a Blue or Purple Potion can be of great help. If you are careful though, you can also get past the Spiky Balls by walking on the edge of the squares. Exit southwest. (173) Exit southwest (strangely, if you jump on the pyramid spikes in this room, nothing will happen). (174) At the opposite end of the room you will notice the fourth piece of the staff. To reach it, you will have to do as you did to get the boots at the beginning of the game. Stop time with a yellow potion and use the block in the corner to reach it; or pick up the block and drop it on the head of the troll that walks on the spiky floor, climbing on top of it in turn, to protect you. You can then reach the opposite side of the room and pick up the piece of the staff. If you use this second strategy, however, to go back you will necessarily have to use a Blue Potion, to protect yourself from the troll, as the block will fall from his head while you pick up the piece of staff. Alternatively, if you have many lives, you can die and restart the game from the beginning of the room. Go back.

(173) Exit northeast. (172) Exit northeast, using a potion if necessary. (170) If you have not yet entered the room below, as described above, do so now. Otherwise, avoid the enemies and exit northwest. (169) Exit northwest. (168) Exit northwest. (167) If you want to complete the game 100%, you should take a long detour now. Otherwise, you can also skip the next paragraph.

A long deviation[edit]

(167) Exit southwest. (3) You will notice that you have returned to the first rooms you passed through. Exit southeast. (2) Exit southwest. (1) Exit southwest. (12) Exit southeast. (13) Exit southeast. (14) Exit southwest. (16) Carefully cross the room using the platforms and exit southwest. (175) Exit northwest. (176) Let yourself fall into the void. (177) As you fall, get up against the southeast side of the room and keep pushing in this direction. (178) Do as above. (179) If you have done as described, you will end up on some squares. Exit southeast. (180) Get the Blue Potion and go back. (179) Let yourself fall.

(109) You will notice that you are back in the Caves of the Doomed Souls. The shortest way out is this: Exit northwest. (110) Exit southwest. (104) Exit northwest. (103) Exit northwest. (102) Exit southwest. (101) Exit southwest. (100) Exit northwest. (111) Exit northwest. (112) Exit northwest avoiding the trolls. (113) Exit northwest. (114) Exit northwest. (115) Go up the stairs.

(116) Here you are back in the gardens. Exit northwest. (118) Exit northwest. (119) Quickly exit northeast. (120) Reach the northeast exit. (122) Exit northeast. (123) Exit southeast. (124) Exit southeast. (156) Exit southeast to re-enter the castle. (157) Exit southeast. (158) Exit northeast. (160) Exit northeast. (161) Exit northeast. (162) Exit southeast. (166) Go through the room using a Blue or Purple Potion if necessary and exit southeast.

Slaughter Yards[edit]

(167) You have returned to the starting point before the detour. This time, go northeast to enter the Slaughter Yards. (181) When the Marching Skulls approach, jump over them and exit northeast. (182) Take the southeast exit. (183) Quickly reach the detonator and press it, before it goes too high. Then go back. (182) This time, exit northeast. (184) Go under the spiky balls and exit northeast. (185) Use the block to protect yourself from the pyramid spikes and get the Yellow Potion. Then exit southeast. (186) Immediately run to the southeast, to pass between the two Tusk Demons that will come towards you. Then exit southeast. Note: If you did not activate the detonator earlier, this exit will not be available. (187) Use the platforms to carefully reach the northeast exit. (188) Ignore the gap for now and exit northeast. (189) Reach the northeast exit, carefully avoiding the tusk demons. (190) Exit northwest. (191) Jump from platform to platform to reach the southwest exit. (192) Jump on the disappearing squares before they disappear and reach the southwest exit. (193) Exit northwest, but be careful - the barrel in the middle will disappear when you touch it. (194) You will need to reach the northeast exit. If you act with maximum timing, you can be able to jump on the block that falls from above and reach it directly. Otherwise, it is best to activate a Yellow Potion to immobilize the block at the right height and make everything much easier. (195) Use the block to get past the pyramid spikes and exit northeast. (196) The fifth piece of the staff! To get it, you will need to be able to position the block that will fall from above onto the conveyor belts at the top. You can do this by having the block fall on your head. After a few attempts you will succeed. Take the fifth piece of the staff and go back.

(195) Use the block to reach the southwest exit. (194) This time, go northwest. (197) Get off the barrel, get the medal and exit southwest. (185) Exit southwest. (184) Exit southwest. (182) Use the two blocks in the room to reach the northwest exit. (198) Quickly jump to the squares to your left. When the Tusk Demons approach, jump over them and reach the top corner. There you will find a block. Use it to reach the northeast exit. (199) Use the blocks present to reach the northwest exit. (200) Exit northeast. (201) Exit northwest. (202) You will notice a hat ending up on the spikes and disappearing. You could take it with a Yellow Potion, but there is a better way. Ignore it and go back. (201) This time, exit northeast to enter the Tower of Tears.

Tower Of Tears[edit]

(203) The third tower of the game has five floors. First, jump into the hole in the center, trying to do it under the green elevator. (204) If you are lucky you will end up directly on the elevator that will take you back upstairs. Otherwise, you will have to wait for it to come back down and in the meantime you will have to deal with a very aggressive Tripod Spider in a confined space. Maybe activate a Blue Potion, to protect yourself (not Purple, or it will also destroy the elevator). (203) Let yourself be carried upwards. (205) Nothing interesting. Let yourself be carried upwards. (206) Let yourself be carried upwards. (207) When the elevator is high enough, jump onto the conveyor belts and from there, onto the lower square near the exit. Be careful not to fall, or you will have to start all over again. Alternatively, you can reach the disappearing squares on the right and from there, the square at the top. Activating a Green Potion will reveal a hidden square. Using the pink moving platform and this square, you can get to the same spot. Grab the hat and exit southwest. (208) As you fall, move to the top corner of the room. (209) If you have done as described, you will end up on a falling hat: grab it. (210) If you haven't taken the hat yet, do so now. Then move to the center of the northeast side of the room. (202) If you did as described, you will land on a square and have already taken the hat you saw earlier. Exit southeast.

From now on, the path to follow will be much more linear. (201) Exit northeast. (203) Exit southeast. (211) Exit southwest. (212) Go back. (211) Use the block to protect yourself from the pyramid spikes, then take a long jump using the block and exit southeast. (197) Exit southwest. (185) Exit southeast. (186) Quickly reach the southeast exit, passing between the two demons. (187) Use the moving platforms to reach the northeast exit. (188) Jump into the gap to enter the Mines of Insanity.

Mines of Insanity[edit]

Despite the name, the Mines of Insanity are small and easy to get through, a real trifle compared to the Caves of the Doomed Souls. (213) Exit southwest. (214) Move the crystal ball twice to pass over the spikes and reach the southwest exit. (215) Quickly avoid the trolls and exit southeast. (216) Follow the path and exit southeast. (217) Reach the southwest exit, but be careful: the square in the middle of the path will disappear when you touch it. (218) In this room, you will meet the Four-Eyed Head Feet for the only time in the game. Ignore them and exit northwest. (219) Quickly exit southwest, avoiding the spiky ball. (220) Jump to the block above the slime ball to reach the southeast exit. (221) Collect the medal and exit southeast. (222) Wait for the tripod spiders to approach the platform you are on. Then take a long jump to jump over them and exit southwest. (223) Climb the steps to exit the Mines of Insanity.

Stonehedge Gardens[edit]

You are getting close to the end. (224) Exit southwest. (225) Avoid the Tripod Spider and exit southwest. (226) Use the block to overcome the pyramid spikes and reach the southeast exit. (227) Avoid the trolls and take the northeast exit. (228) Grab the yellow potion and exit northwest. (229) Use a Blue or Purple Potion to get past the spiky balls and exit northwest. (225) Exit southwest. (226) Exit southeast. (227) This time, exit southeast. (230) Use the moving platforms to reach the southwest exit. (231) Avoid the slime balls and exit southwest. (232) Jump carefully from the edge of the squares and reach the southeast exit. The squares are all solid, but be very careful not to fall! If you fall into the void you will end up in room 39, in the Caves of the Doomed Souls and you will have to go a very long way to get back here! (233) In this room you will need to use a Blue Potion to proceed. Only in this way, in fact, will you be able to jump on the head of the trolls and reach the northeast exit. If you want, you can also use a Yellow Potion to immobilize them and make things even easier, but it's not strictly necessary. (234) Quickly jump onto the conveyor belt on the left and then onto the square next to it. When there are only two disappearing squares left in the top corner, jump on them, then quickly jump to the right, to reach another conveyor belt and the moving platform that can lead you to the southeast exit. A Yellow Potion could make things much easier. (235) Use the two blocks to reach the southwest exit. Note: In this room you must already have 5 pieces of the staff in order to proceed. If you don't have them, the two blocks will not appear, preventing you from reaching the exit.

(236) Avoid the worms and exit southeast. (237) To get the Magic Key, push the crystal ball against the moving platform as it moves in your direction to make it fall. Alternatively, you can jump against the moving platform, trying to drop the key. After a few attempts you will succeed. Taking the key, exit to the southeast. (238) Take the southwest exit. Note: if you didn't get the key from the previous room, this exit will not appear. (239) In this room there are two parallel moving platforms above a spiked floor. One of them allows you to reach the northwest exit and on the other there is a Yellow Potion. Then go up to the first platform. When the two moving platforms are lined up, jump very carefully onto the platform with the Yellow Potion and grab it. It is a very risky jump, but the Yellow Potion will be very useful to you in the last rooms of the castle, so you should have a beaker full. Then exit northwest. (240) Immediately push the crystal ball in front of you. In this way, the block that falls from above will end up on the floor. Then use the block to reach the northeast side of the room, using the usual technique, jumping and picking up the block at the same time. You can do this via the green moving platform or the squares at the top right. Then use the portal to teleport. (241) Exit northeast. (242) To cross this room it is practically essential to use a Yellow Potion. Activate it to immobilize the blocks, then grab the one closest to you and use it to reach the northeast exit, jumping and picking up the block at the same time. You can do it even without the potion, but it is highly risky and inadvisable. (243) Jump on the medal, then jump and pick it up at the same time. In this way, you can overcome the squares and reach the northeast exit. You cannot go under the spiky balls: if you fail to do as described above, you will need to activate a Blue or Purple Potion to proceed. (244) At first glance this room seems insurmountable, but if you activate a Green Potion you will reveal an invisible square. Use it to reach the northeast exit. (245) If you are particularly fast and precise, you can overcome this room and reach the northwest exit using the blocks and disappearing squares present. Otherwise, it is strongly recommended to activate a Yellow Potion, to immobilize the blocks and reach the exit without any particular problems.

Tower of Ultimate Terror[edit]

Here you are in the final tower of the game. To get the last piece of the staff you will have to solve a really well thought out puzzle. If you make a mistake, you will have to start all over from the beginning. (246) Go up the elevator in the left corner of the room. (247) Nothing to be done here for now. Let yourself be transported upstairs. (248) When the elevator reaches its highest point, jump southeast and keep moving in this direction. (247) Continuing to head southeast, you will land on a disappearing square. Quickly jump northeast, climbing up. Move to the top edge of the topmost square and jump. (248) You will end up on a square with a crystal ball. You will have to push this ball to the northwest, climbing on it, making sure that the crystal ball ends up on the pink elevator in the corner. You will therefore have to push it at the right time, that is, when the elevator is approximately at its highest point. Thanks to the elevator and the crystal ball above it, you will be able to go up to the room above. (249) Here you may be tempted to do the same thing, placing the crystal ball on the pink elevator in the corner to go up to the next room, but it is not the right thing to do. In this way, you would in fact be able to go up to the room above and see the last piece of the staff, but you will find yourself on a square hidden under a pyramid, with no way out. Instead, as soon as you get to this room, push the crystal ball to the southeast, in order to collect the block that will fall from above. Then pick up the block you intercepted and push the crystal ball southwest, climbing onto it. In this way, you can reach the squares on the southwest side and, thanks to the block, you can go up to the room above. If you still have a Yellow Potion, you can activate it to immobilize the block and make everything much easier, but remember to go up to the upper room, at the right or left corner. (250) Climb the pyramid of squares avoiding the Marchin Skulls to finally reach the last piece of the staff. Instead of taking it though, if you want to complete the game 100%, climb on it and jump. This will take you to the highest room in the tower. (251) Press the detonator and return to the room below. (250) Collect the last piece of the staff to complete it. From now on you will be invulnerable to enemies, as if you had a permanently activated Blue Potion and you will have an unlimited amount of each potion. All these advantages will be of little use to you, since the end of the game is just around the corner. However, if you want to complete the game 100% there is one last thing to do. Go back to the room below. (249) This time, place the crystal ball on the pink elevator in the corner, get on it and get carried upstairs, as previously described. (250) You will notice that on the northeast wall, now that you have pressed the detonator, a new door has opened. Reach it by moving carefully and helping you with the map, since Shadax will not be visible, under the pyramid of squares. Exit northeast. (252) Collect the Purple Potion, the Yellow Potion and the hat you find. Then go back. (250) Drop down to the lowest room in the tower. (246) Enter the door that opened on the northwest wall to see the game ending. Congratulations!
