Military Mayhem is the fourth level in Tornado Outbreak. The level revolves around Zephyr navigating throughout Area 51 in search for Fire Flyers hiding within geodomes, Humvees, and a whole assortment of military vehicles and infrastructures.

Plot[edit]

While flying to retrieve Omegaton's next Orb, Zephyr, Nimbus, and the Wind Warriors are suddenly attacked by Fire Flyers. The squad tries to evade the attackers, but one of the Flyers lands a critical hit on Nimbus, causing him to fall out of formation and become incapacitated. Unable to move, Nimbus hands over the L.O.A.D. STARR to Zephyr and instructs him to continue the mission without him.

Now alone and forced to lead his squad without his lieutenant, Zephyr and the Wind Warriors push forward without Nimbus as they prepare to enter Area 51.

Ending[edit]

Zephyr hurriedly rushes towards the last spot Nimbus was in an effort to rescue him. However, it was too late. The Fire Flyers have taken him. With Nimbus nowhere to be seen and the L.O.A.D. STARR signaling the next orb within the Las Vegas Strip, Zephyr makes the decision to carry on with the mission as he tells the squad to move out.

Layout[edit]

Military Mayhem is comprised of three zones, a Vortex Race, and lastly a Totem Battle. Each zone has Zephyr starting off as a size two tornado.

Zone 1[edit]

The first zone has a curved arrangement of traffic cones that need to be destroyed. By destroying them repeatedly, the Category Level of the tornado increases in size up to three. Once it reaches this point, players can unlock the Silent But Deadly achievement/trophy. The ideal size to grow the tornado in this area is size 10. However, a size 8 tornado is capable of chain collecting a large number of Fire Flyers. The required size for the tornado in this Zone to capture all 100 Fire Flyers is 12.

Zone 2[edit]

The second zone has a chain link fence near the starting area that needs to be destroyed to quickly increase the size of the tornado to three. As you explore throughout the area, you'll encounter a group of humans, ranging from Men in Black to Soldiers. Collecting around 3 or 4 of these humans increases the size of the tornado to 5. At this point, you can choose to continue targeting the humans for more growth or target other objects in the area. Unlike the previous portion of the zone, a size 13 tornado is required to capture all 100 Fire Flyers within the area.

Zone 3[edit]

Zone 3 has Zephyr landing within a walled area with Soldiers and Drill Sergeants. Start off by growing the tornado into a size three by picking up objects within the area such as ground lights, tires and tumbleweed. As you continue to grow in size, Zephyr will be able to collect humans and demolish the two porta potties. The left one has a single Fire Flyer hiding within it. At the corners of the walled area, consists of six oil tanks. Three of them contain two Fire Flyers. If you time your movements just right, you can chain collect up to 6 Fire Flyers at once as a size 6 tornado. Once you reached size seven, Zephyr will be able to demolish the walls and escape from his indirect imprisonment. All of the Fire Flyers are unobtainable near the starting area at this point, so you want to make your way towards the location of the L.O.A.D. STARR. Prioritize destroying vehicles that contain Fire Flyers until you reach around size 11. Like the previous level, a size 13 tornado is required to collect all 100 Fire Flyers in the area.

Achievement/Trophies[edit]
