Welcome to StrategyWiki![edit]

Hello Tinsin! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide. If you have a question about the content on this wiki, you can check out our staff lounge page. If you want to ask questions or hang out in IRC, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the community portal talk page. Please remember to sign your name on talk pages by clicking Wikisigbutton.png or using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. Finally, please do your best to always fill in the edit summary field as this helps to document all of your hard work. Feel free to delete this message from your talk page if you like, or keep it for reference. Happy editing! -- Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 09:31, 18 June 2007 (CDT)

Editing Tips[edit]

Hi, of course you can't be expected to know everything from the get-go, but please be aware of a few things:

  • Please do not sign on guide pages. Your sig is reserved for discussion pages alone. When guide pages are signed, they give an unprofessional appearance
  • Please do not use drivel. Drivel, as defined here on StrategyWiki, means the use of first person (I, we), the use of slang or informal words (you know, like) and the addition of flavor that does not add much to the walkthrough (clichés).
  • Please use the preload buttons found over the edit box of each new page. This sets up the page's formatting so you don't have to. Of course, using the proper button helps too ^_^
  • Please read the StrategyWiki usage guide to clear up any other questions you may have. If you still have questions, feel free to ask me or any other admin on their talk page, or ask at the staff lounge.
  • And the last, and certainly most important, please have fun!

Thanks, and I hope you do get a long line of fine contributions! --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 09:40, 18 June 2007 (CDT)

Ooooooooooooookay![edit]

I guess I kinda screwed up a bit.

A lot.

Oh well, I had to learn sometime, good thing I didn't make too much of a mess. =/ --Tinsin 09:44, 18 June 2007 (CDT)

You didn't screw up per se, almost every new user goes through what you are doing (and some of them are even sysops now!). As I said earlier, you can't expect every new user to just walk in knowing everything about how we do stuff. Its a process where one learns as one goes. On that note, if you think something should be changed policy-wise, feel free to bring it up in the community issues section. --Skizzerz Scissors.pngSafety Skizzerz Talk · Contribs · Spel Chek™ · VFG · RTFM 09:53, 18 June 2007 (CDT)
