After the DoubleJump books announcement does it mean that there will be less adverts on the rest of the site? I hope this is the case. 81.107.69.28 14:54, 15 April 2008 (CDT)

:I wish that I could say this would be the case, but it is not.  The agreement between DoubleJump Books and StrategyWiki does not change our financial situation.  We offer all of our content to readers free of charge.  Since we do not charge any user for our services, we need to recoup the fees to maintain our servers in some form.  At the moment, advertising is the only viable solution.  At some point we hope to expand our network of sites to include content that is more conducive to generating revenue.  If and when such a site is constructed, we can reevaluate whether the amount of money being earned by an associated venture is enough to remove the advertisements without and appreciable deficit to our ability to maintain the site.  We thank you very much for your understanding and for your support of the site.  Procyon (Talk) 16:22, 15 April 2008 (CDT)
