Asterix is a 1993 game by Infogrames Entertainment for the Game Boy, NES and SNES.
The story is simple: Obelix has been captured by the Romans, and Asterix must rescue him. Because of this Obelix is not a playable character, unlike most Asterix games. It was followed by Asterix & Obelix, where Obelix once again returns as a playable character.
