eh?

Why not just categorise things by both Action and Adventure? --DrBob (Talk) 16:11, 1 November 2006 (CST)

I've always been confused by the distinction. It seems to me you have a spectrum with Action on one end and RPG on the other, and Adventure in the middle. What would be an example of a non-action oriented adventure game? And be sure that the example is not an RPG. Procyon 16:24, 1 November 2006 (CST)
Well, the WP:Action-adventure game article has enough examples. Personally, Adventure game to me means something like Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, ie. point-and-click. I guess that's expanded to "has a story and puzzles" (like The Legend of Zelda). Action is a fairly broad category which pretty much encompasses everything else :P. Wikipedia has a pretty good list of genres here, here and here. We might want to add a few of them.
Also, I don't really see how Stealth and Survival horror are subcategories of this. -- Prod (Talk) 17:04, 1 November 2006 (CST)
