'''''NFL 2K''''' is a [[Dreamcast]]-exclusive video game based on the National Football League. The game was made because of EA Sports' decision to not release its well-renowned [[Madden NFL]] series on the Dreamcast due to the demise of the ill-fated Sega Saturn. Needless to say, the game spawned its own series even when the Dreamcast died, which combated the Madden series until EA bought the NFL license in 2005. | |||
