==Tips==
1. When you turn into a 90degree or sharper corner, go as far as you can to the wall on the other side on the wall, and then the front of your cars it close the where the two walls intersect, make the turn. This prevents you from hitting the wall most of the time.
2. Brake before going into a turn, so you can make it, and then accelerate through the rest of the turn. If you hit the wall, use NOS to regain your speed.
3. NOS Dosen't just work as a accelerater, if you lose control of your car, or if you're drifting too much, use a steady amount of NOS to regain control, because NOS pushes your can straight foward.
4. You can draft almost ANYTHING. As long as they are in front of you, just stay right behind them and you can draft anyone. use this to get in front of a opponent who is just too fast.
5. Not all shortcuts are good shortcuts, some shortcuts (like the one on the curve in chinatown) take longer to go through than taking a actual path. However this may not apply on shortcuts with lots of turns if you drive a good tuner.

Now, Heres tips and hint on how to beat the canyon races one by one and how you should proceed through turf. Always keep your turf connected. in other words, don't go out and get an island here, then another little section in the middle of nowhere, KEEP IT TOGETHER! Also, Go from Angie's turf to Wolf's turf to Kenj'is Turf to Darius's turf. Now here are the boss guides.

'''ANGIE''' isn't too tough, but can be difficult if this is your first canyon race. if your camaro has the power to out run her(try this like 5 times first) and get in front of her for 10 seconds, then do that, other wise, just feather the throttle around corners, and use e-breaks on 180° turns. the second unlock from the right is her pink slip 90% of the time.

'''DARIUS''' is a definite problem. you have to beat 3 racers at the same time, then darius, then the canyon race! so, use your corvette to just nail it in front of him, keep it slow around the first and second corner while staying in front of him, and use all your '''NOS''' after the second corner. Not so hard now, is it?

Muscle Class Walkthrough

This part of the walkthrough is for those of us that don't like to take their finger off the gas button, and like to use nitro a lot. Below is a recommended list of cars you should use through the game, and tips on how to beat canyon races with the car you should have.

First off, here is the cars you should get and sell through until the end of the game.

  1. Chevy Camaro SS
  2. Sell Camaro for Vauxhall Monaro VXR buy on Wolf's turf
  3. Sell Monaro for Corvette Z'06 in Darius's turf
  4. Don't sell Corvette and buy either Lamborghini Gallardo or Murciélago or both

Now, Here's some tips and hint on how to beat the canyon races one by one and how you should proceed through turf. Always keep your turf connected. in other words, don't go out and get an island here, then another little section in the middle of nowhere, KEEP IT TOGETHER! Also, Go from Angie's turf to Wolf's turf to Kenj'is Turf to Darius's turf. Now here are the boss guides.

WOLF can be a problem because his car can take these corners mighty well. your monaro should have higher handling and acceleration, but he has a higher top end. so try to get in front of him, take it easy on corners, and us NOS on straights.

KENJI will be a minor problem.just out race him and follow the tips that this guide has told you so far.

DARIUS is a definite problem. you have to beat 3 racers at the same time, then darius, then the canyon race! so, use your corvette to just nail it in front of him, keep it slow around the first and second corner while staying in front of him, and use all your NOS after the second corner. Not so hard now, is it?
