Spoiler warning! This section of the article contains spoilers, or hints about the game's storyline or progression.

You might want to skip down to the next heading if you do not want facts about the game's storyline or plot revealed to you.

Undergarments

Shirts

T-shirt

This is the shirt you have on when the game begins. It’s the only one of its kind in the game, since you've traveled into another dimension. It provides less armor and weighs less than the common Medieval Shirts encountered in the game. The refund when sold is higher though. The T-shirt is indestructible.

Medieval Shirt

Common to the game is the Medieval Shirt, providing relatively good armor for its weight. The Medieval shirt comes in a variety of colours and two different qualities: Normal (no prefix) and Sturdy. The sturdy ones are hidden though. Medieval Shirts are indestructible.

Pants

Medieval Pants

These pants are normal to the game, providing relatively good armor for it's weight (just like the shirts, yes...) also coming in a lot of different colours and the same two qualities. Medieval Pants are indestructible.

Armor

Chest Armor

Wizard Robe

Only wizards may wear these. It’s the best and only armor one of the wizard class can wear. It provides very good armor and has a medium durability. They come in a variety of colours and quality's. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Studded Leather

Chain Mail

Breast Plate

The best protection for one of the warrior class. It provides excellent armor and has a very high durability. They come in various colours and qualities. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Head Armor

Leather Helm

Plate Helm

The best protection for one of the warrior class. It provides excellent armor and has a very high durability. They come in various colours and qualities. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Knights Helm

The absolute best protection for one of the warrior class. It provides perfect armor and has an ultra high durability. They come in various colours and qualities. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Leggings

Leather Leggings

Boots

Leather Boots

Armored Boots

Plate Boots

Cloaks

Cloaks are common overall garment which provide a little extra armor. They have a medium durability but they take less damage. Cloaks come in a variety of colours and quality's. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Weapons

Swords

Axes

Hammers

Staves

Shuriken

Shuriken

Chakrums

Bows

When playing as a conjurer, you can equip a bow. Bows launch arrows, which are grouped as quivers. Therefore if the bow is selected, a quiver must be selected with it, and vice-versa. Two types of bows can be obtained:

Handbow

Just called "Bow" in the game, the handbow is a basic weapon for a conjurer. It reloads quickly and does reasonable damage. Bows come in a variety of colours. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Crossbow

These bows reload really slow, but they pack a great punch! Crossbows come in a variety of colours. Some are enchanted, colouring with the effect.

Quivers

Quivers are ammo for bows (technically they hold the ammo, but arrows are not an item within the game) and thus they are, of course, required if one wishes to shoot an arrow. Quivers can be enchanted, colouring with the effect.

The Halberd of Horrendous

This is the weapon you will need to finish the game, for it will advance as you play through the story. The Halberd is, with or without having fought for depending on your character class, obtained from the warlord Horrendous in Dün Mir. Then, at the wizard castle of galava, called the tower of illusion, you obtain the Heart Of Nox, again with or without fighting for it. Together they make the "Halberd with the Heart Of Nox", which has additional level 4 shock damage. The third addition would be the Weirdling Beast, residing in the temple of Ix and thriving on the energy of the Xon pools in the deep there. It will cling to the Halberd because the Heart Of Nox provides a much greater deal of energy to the beast than the Xon pools. With the beast attached you have the "Halberd with the Heart Of Nox and the Weirdling" which does 1 level less shock damage but has a level 2 vampirism buff, for the Weirdling can channel a little of the weapons damage into your health. The last upgrade of the weapon is the orb of Hecubah, waiting for our hero at the land of the dead. With this artifact attached, the Halberd has completed its final stage and is then called "Staff of Oblivion" which is an insanely strong and effective weapon, used similar to the Lightning staff. With this staff obtained you can finish the game (though it is not necessary to USE it to finish the game).

Self Care

These items can be used to boost your condition. You can only carry nine of the same items of each self care item.

Potions

Basic items to heal or refill health or mana. Three different potions occur in Nox:

Healing Potion

When used, these will refill a portion of your health.

Mana Potion

These potions partially refill your mana supply.

Cure Poison

Use such a potion to rid yourself of toxication.

Food

Food acts as secondary refill and cure items:

Apple

Refills a very small portion of health. Can also be used by allies and controlled creatures.

Meat

Will refill a little health. Can also be used by allies and controlled creatures.

Cider

The common ale can be used to refill a bit of your health. Use wisely though, intoxication makes one move funny.

Mushroom

Mushrooms can cure poison, but they have a nasty side effect, like cider.

Miscellaneous Items

I'd like to cover everything else you can hold in your inventory in this chapter.

Quest Items

Book of Oblivion

This book is an unusable quest item in the conjurer and wizard story, where archwizard Horvath asks you to fetch it from the library below the Tower of Illusion, along with the amulet of clarity.

Books

Spellbooks (single player)

These blue-covered books are general tomes of knowledge for a wizard or conjurer to learn or improve the application of mana, in the form of spells.

Wizard Spellbook (multiplayer)

Same as described above, but only usable by wizards, also with a blue colored cover.

Conjurer Spellbook (multiplayer)

just like a wizard spellbook, only this one can be used by conjurers only. They can be distinguished by a green cover.

Warrior Spellbook (multiplayer)

Wariors aren't able of casting spells because they don't have any scource of mana. On the other hand, a warrior can learn to use skills, wich can be obtained through a "spellbook". these are recognizable by their red cover.
