Breeding Basics

To start you need a female and male pokemon that are in the same egg group (see Egg Groups). Then travel to the Pokemon Daycare on Route 117. Go inside and talk to the lady at the counter. And then give her the selected pokemon. To check if they are compatable talk to the man outside he will respond to one of the following things that will cause you to have an egg or not:

• "They seem to get along well" 70%
• "They seem to get along" 50%
• "They don't seem to like each other" 20%
• "They prefer to play with other POKeMON" 0%

After this is said start walking and after a certain number of steps if the conditions are right an egg will be produced.
