To experienced players, beating the game does not make you a Pokémon master, because the game is programmed for eight years olds to beat. This guide will cover all the generations, but it's best if you know what they are. # The First Generation is comprised of Red, Blue and Yellow, also called RBY (the Japanese-only [[Pokémon Red and Blue|Pokémon Green is also in this category).
- The Second Generation consists of Gold, Silver, and Crystal, usually called GSC.
