Rompers is an arcade game that was released by Namco in 1989 only in Japan. It runs on Namco System 1 hardware.

Introduction

The player must take control of Chap, a gardener who must collect all the keys in 61 maze-like gardens in order to rescue his girlfriend, Rumina. He can push the walls in the gardens over to crush the various enemies that pursue him, but they will come back as eggs which will hatch after a few seconds. Each round is also on a strict time limit to ensure that the player doesn't dawdle, and if it runs out, a strange-looking vampire named Tsukaima (who cannot be crushed by the walls) will appear. The enemies will also start moving faster to make things more difficult for Chap.
