How to play
Basic information
- Seiya's initial stats, as well as his ability to increase them, are determined by the zodiac sign corresponding to the date of birth that you enter at the start of the game
- Your Cosmos power will drain at a very slow rate while you continue to wear the Pegasus Armor.
- During side-scrolling portions of the game, you can fire one shockwave from your fists during every fifth punch.
- When chosing to speak to certain individuals in the middle of combat, they may award you extra Cosmos for doing so.
- However, if you speak with Aiolia, your Cosmos will immediately become 0.
- The Pegasus Meteor Fist attack can be used by setting three meters to full Cosmos power.
- The Pegasus Comet Fist attack can be used by setting every meter to full Cosmos power.
- When you obtain all of the golden robes, they can be activated by setting every meter to full Cosmos power.
Explanation of abilities
When looking at the Data screen, the number on the left is the current level, and the number on the right is the amount of experience points necessary to elevate that ability to the next level. Ability levels may only be advanced to level 20. (A secret code may be entered which permits abilities to be raised to level 40).
- APow: Offensive power
- MPow: Movement power (speed)
- DPow: Defensive power
- HPow: Force of will
- AS: Fist speed
- JP: Jump power
- CP: Strength of Armor

The number outside of the parenthesis is the starting level, and the number in parenthesis is the number of experience points needed to increase to the next level.

Maximum health (Damage)
The maximum amount of health that you can store (or Damage that you can sustain) is determined by the levels of your stats. In order to increase your health beyond 20, you must meet the following level minimums.

Cheats
Infinite Experience
This cheat only exists in the Japanese version. It is corrected in the French version, and the English translation which is based upon the French version. In the middle of the game, press 
to go to the subscreen, and choose to look at your Data (のうりょく). Put the cursor next to End (おわり), and press 
+
or 
+. The cursor should move to a location on the right side of the screen. Then tap 
to increase your experience points.
Revival
If you travel from the town and into the cave, and allow yourself to be attacked so that your health is reduced to 0, press to go to the subscreen, and choose to look at your Data (のうりょく). Go to your DAMAGE, and increase the value at the cost of some Cosmos, and you will be revived.
Level 40
This cheat only works in the Japanese version. It is unknown what the correct code is for the French version, and the English translation which is based upon the French version. On the password screen, enter the password:
とうきょうとたいとうくこまがたばんだいのがんぐだいさんぶのほし
When inputting this password, you will be able to increase the level of your abilities beyond the normal Level 20 cap, all the way up to Level 40.
Infinite Cosmos
After receiving the Pegasus Armor, before you proceed to fight any challenger in a turn-based battle, convert your Damage to Cosmos and reduce your Damage to 1. Allow yourself to be knocked out by the challenger, and you will wake up revived in the hospital with your life refreshed. You can then repeat these steps as often as you like to continuously increase your Cosmos power.
