Snake Pit is an arcade game that was released by Bally and Sente in 1984; it is the sixth of the initial batch of games to run upon that company's SAC-I hardware, and the first that actually has an ending. The player must use a trackball to take up control of an Indiana Jones-like adventurer called Outback Jack, with a 4-way joystick to make him crack his whip up, down, left, and right at the various animals (snakes in particular) that are advancing towards him to kill them - and once he kills all the animals in a room, the door at the top of it will slide up, and he can proceed to the next one. There are a total of twenty-eight waves in this game; once Outback Jack has managed to clear them all, he shall receive 10000 points, for every life he has remaining (along with a 100000-point bonus, for getting out alive).
