Soccer was the first American soccer/European football game that Nintendo released for the Famicom. It was the second best selling Famicom game released in 1985, selling approximately 1,530,000 copies in its lifetime. It was released in arcades as Vs. Soccer as part of Nintendo's Vs. arcade system. Soccer was re-released for the Famicom Disk System.
