Down the Street[edit]

Microchips: 1

Go right and you will encounter a new type of enemy: a grasshopper that moves back and forth while jumping. Nothing too dangerous, but it is advisable to attack it from a distance. The boomerang is perfect. After dealing with two of them, you will come to a drainage ditch. You then have the option of going underground or staying on the surface. The first option is certainly better, because it allows you to get a CD piece. Go down the duct collecting the DNA strands, but watch out for the slug on the right wall. Near the left wall is the CD piece. Don't let yourself fall into the void or you risk drowning. You will then arrive in the sewers. The ideal is to go down along the right wall, so that you can then proceed attached to the ceiling, once in the sewers. Otherwise, you will have to proceed by jumping on floating boxes to avoid ending up in the water, a decidedly more treacherous path. Continue right to find some Mines. You can get them from the ceiling by rappelling down a spiderweb. The same goes for the DNA strands along the way. If you are on the ceiling, you only have to worry about falling drops. The path is very linear, eventually you will come to another vertical shaft that will take you back on the street. At this point, if you want, you can go left to also explore the surface route, but there is little of interest here. Just a health capsule and some DNA strands. You should also get past some flashing flames and some slugs. So it's better to go straight to the right. You won't find anything new here. There are several slugs and a grasshopper along the way, if you have the ability to attack them from a distance it will be easier to proceed. Otherwise, you're better off attacking them from behind. Above one pool there is an extra life to collect and above another you will find Missiles. However, be careful not to fall into the water. At the bottom, you will find the microchip.

Side of Building[edit]

Microchip 1
Go left and take out the wasp floating above the next ledge. Missiles will be very useful in this level. Proceed left and ignore the vertical wooden plank for now. Proceeding to the left you will find some DNA strands and an extra life under a ledge (watch out for the wasp). Go back to the wooden plank and climb it, eliminating the spider. At the top, jump onto the platforms on the right. There is another somewhat treacherous wasp, but further on you can find a health capsule, an extra life and some very useful Missiles. Then go back and grapple to the gutter pipe to the right of the wooden beam. Before climbing it though, go to the right of it. Under a ledge patrolled by a wasp, you'll find a Smart Bomb. Go back to the gutter pipe and climb up. Jump onto the ledge on the left and take out the spider walking around it. Then climb the slanted wooden plank above the ledge. At the top, on the left you will find the microchip.

Microchip 2
Follow the previous path, up to the top of the gutter pipe. This time, however, go right. You'll have to climb another inclined wooden beam, taking out the spider patrolling it. At the top, jump onto the ledge on the right and kill the wasp. Proceed to the right. Be careful, the lower ledge is patrolled by a spider. Under the next ledge, you will notice a vertical row of DNA strands, move to that point, or better yet, slightly to the left and drop. You will land on a ledge with the microchip. Before you get it though, go to the underside of the ledge to get a CD piece. Be careful, because there is also a spider hanging around this ledge. Then take the microchip to complete the level.

Microchip 1
Take a long jump to the right, to reach a branch without falling into the water. From there, jump onto the hollow log ahead, but watch out for the spider walking around it. On the hidden lower side there is nothing, so move forward. On the next rock you will find some Missiles. Proceed until you reach the ground. Advance carefully, because a grasshopper will come towards you. Later, if you have two hit points, you can get an extra life. There is in fact a red tank, from which an intermittent flame comes out. You can enter the tank and take the extra life, but you will almost certainly be hit by the flame, losing a hit point. A little further on you will find a health capsule, to recover the lost hit point. Cross the stream and eliminate the grasshopper. You will find a tunnel that goes underground, enter it. Go down, paying attention to the intermittent flames, and you will find some missiles and an extra life. Be careful before going down to the bottom, there is a rat patrolling this area. Kill it and continue right. If you don't jump, the flames can't hit you. You will find a health capsule along the way. You will then arrive at a vertical tunnel, which allows you to return to the surface, under a hollow trunk. Here you will find a CD piece, which cannot be reached in any other way. After taking it, go back, carefully avoiding the flames, until you return to the main path. Go right and you will find a fork. Go straight, past the gray concrete pipe, taking the long line of DNA strands. There are also some Mech Mines up ahead. You will then have to cross another stream. You can also get an extra life while jumping, but be careful not to end up in the water. You will enter a concrete pipe and a short front-scrolling area. Cross the stream by jumping on the rocks, eliminate the spider on the other side and at the bottom you will find the microchip.

Microchip 2
Follow the previous path until the fork described above. Of course, if you have already taken the CD piece there is no point in going underground again. This time go left and enter the concrete pipe. After a short front-scrolling section, you will have to climb some platforms. Be careful, because two of them are patrolled by spiders. At the top you will enter another front-sliding concrete pipe with the microchip at the bottom.

Bonus Level: Under the Street[edit]

A short and linear level, but quite challenging. If you fall into the sewage you will immediately lose a life. The only items to collect are DNA strands. Jump onto the plank on the right, eliminating the spider walking on it first if possible. Two planks later there is another spider and after two more you will find a slug, which you should attack from behind. Another spider awaits you on the flat platform just above the sewage. Turn the corner. On the next plank a dangerous rat awaits you, so try to eliminate this enemy before climbing on it. Otherwise, if you have missiles, they will be very useful to you. The next plank is safe, but on the second one you will find another rat. On the next flat platform a slug awaits you. Finally, after passing another slug on the next plank, you will find the microchip.

Along the Street[edit]

Another very linear level, but with many powerful enemies and no health capsules to collect. Walk left and be ready to avoid a fly that will come towards you, trying to crash into you. You will then have to pass through three holes from which two intermittent flames come out. It's easy, because no flames come out of the central hole and you can therefore stop there, between one flame and another. You will also find some Missiles right after. They will be very useful to you, because just ahead you will be attacked by a dark bat, which drops dangerous bombs that bounce before exploding. Avoid its attacks and take hit out with a missile. Continue to encounter another dark bar: eliminate it in the same way. Then there are two other formations of intermittent flames to overcome. After the second you will encounter a new very dangerous enemy: a mantis that can hide in the ground and then come out and attack you with boomerangs. It's very tough to eliminate, so be careful, especially if you don't have long-range weapons. Turn the corner and pass the patch of brown ground. It's safe, there are no enemies here. Back on the sidewalk, you'll find a useful Boomerang. Soon after, you'll have to get past more flames. From here on, however, a flame also comes out of the central hole, alternating with the other two. You must therefore move with timing and precision. Another dark bat awaits you ahead, followed by a mantis and more flames. Turn the corner. On the brown ground you will encounter two grasshoppers, the least dangerous enemies in this level. Another mantis will attack you as soon as you return to the sidewalk. In the final stretch of the level you will have to overcome three more sets of flames. Between the first and second and after the third you will be attacked by a grasshopper, while on the central section you will encounter another mantis. At the bottom you will find the microchip.
