Super Mario Advance 2 is the second game in a series of four to bring classic Super Mario titles to the portable Game Boy Advance. This volume contains a conversion of the Super Nintendo launch title Super Mario World with a sprinkling of new features such as a unique sprite for Luigi and the battle mode homage to the original Mario Bros. game (which was included in every single Super Mario Advance game). Unlike in the SNES version Super Mario World, Luigi is an optional character in the GBA remake (Super Mario Advance 2: Super Mario World). That is because the "2 Player Mode" (from the SNES version "Super Mario World") did not exist.
