Seems to me a tabular form would be far, far more useful here.  I dont know if i'll finish but i will start making one on this page - if it does get done it should include everything from the other page and can just replace it.  Wikilinks will be added en masse at the end.  Sell price is simply half the value so does not require a separate field. :Changed wikitable to {{t|prettytable}}. Are you planning to make tables for each section? If not, perhaps a "Type" field could be added to track what are currently in headings (e.g. Axes, Knives, Staves, etc.). Also, we'll be losing the automatic anchor that the weapon headings provide, so if individual weapons are widely linked to throughout the guide, you might consider manually adding anchors (<nowiki><span id="</nowiki>''Weapon name''">''Weapon name''<nowiki></span></nowiki>). This isn't much of an issue if you're making separate tables for each weapon type, as the section can be linked to instead. — [[User:Najzere|<span style="color:#909090">najzere</span>]][[User talk:Najzere|<span style="color:#993300">T</span>]] 23:00, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

::True about the type, though the majority of the names already include the type (in the NES version the name didn't actually include the type, but had a symbol for it instead).  I was intending just one table, to make it all sortable (pretty crucial when comparing weapons) - the text describing the different weapon types would be kept but placed up above the table.  However there are several issues.  One, the width of the table is already too much, while some important data (extended notes and locations) still isnt there - this could be solved with footnotes that include longer descriptions of the "important" items.  Two, the field for who can use it, though legible in its current form, is not sortable - and there are issues with the nomenclature since w must be used for white mage and cant be used for warrior which i turned into f(ighter). Table form

Changed wikitable to {{prettytable}}. Are you planning to make tables for each section? If not, perhaps a "Type" field could be added to track what are currently in headings (e.g. Axes, Knives, Staves, etc.). Also, we'll be losing the automatic anchor that the weapon headings provide, so if individual weapons are widely linked to throughout the guide, you might consider manually adding anchors (<span id="Weapon name">Weapon name</span>). This isn't much of an issue if you're making separate tables for each weapon type, as the section can be linked to instead. — najzereT 23:00, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
True about the type, though the majority of the names already include the type (in the NES version the name didn't actually include the type, but had a symbol for it instead).
