Nintendo holding rights
In 2002, Capcom remade Biohazard for the Nintendo GameCube due to Nintendo holding the rights to the Biohazard franchise.
This sounds like Nintendo does hold the rights. But, as far as I know Capcom does. A proper sentence would be about how Nintendo signed Capcom onto an exclusive deal of four-five(? I forget exactly) Biohazard games. Capcom decided remaking the first would be a good exclusive.
