If you played in the arcades or any other rail shooter, you know what to expect on the Wii.

  • You can't move but you can shoot by moving your Remote button around the screen.
  • Reload frequently. Getting caught with an empty clip can get you into trouble.
  • If you die, you can continue on in the game. Try to stay alive in "Director's Cut" because your continues will be limited.
  • As a common theme to the House of the Dead series, you need to save civilians before they get whacked.

Special Tips[edit]

There's a number of ways to survive in the game.

  • You have to be fast in your reflexes. Most mutants (not zombies) are slow, but some mutants can kill you in a heartbeat. But if a mutant is confronting you on your face, shake the Remote button to shake him off before you continue shooting.
  • If you're successful in completing a level, it's a good time to use your cash to buy and upgrade your weapons.
  • The items like first aid box and slow mo-fo can be seen during your rail shooting progress. Try to shoot it before the camera moves to another area.
  • If you're playing co-op, try to coordinate where you're shooting on the screen. To be sure, move your Remote button to see which one is yours.
