It works almost as expected. My only problem is that it doesn't work when browsing diffs (which I use for reverting vandalism, though not necessary here :D). The simplepopups variable turns off page previews (as i find that speeds up the loading time). Try copying mine exactly (without the other options) and see if that works first.
