It's fine to stub in lists if you don't have time to fill in the descriptions, that's absolutely no problem. It's not the number of edits to a page over its lifetime that matters, it's the very quick edits over a short period of time when you could just use Show Preview to test small changes out before saving them that make more work for admins. But yeah, stubbing information is totally cool, I do it when I'm short on time too.
