Batman Forever is a beat 'em up game that was developed by Probe Entertainment for Acclaim and released upon the SNES, Nintendo Game Boy, Sega Genesis and Sega Game Gear in 1995, and on the Microsoft Windows operating system in 1996; it is based on the 1994 film of the same name, and later begat an arcade game on Sega's ST-V hardware, that was ported to the Sega Saturn and Sony PlayStation (but it would not function properly when the ST-V's cabinet was set to "Multi-Cart" mode).
