Dogz is a game for the PC and Nintendo DS, but there is also a separate version (also titled 'Dogz', but not a virtual pet game) for the PS2 and Wii. The goal of this version is to care for your dog, by feeding it, playing with it, and lots more!

There are five breeds of dog you can adopt and care for; Beagle, Border Collie, German Shepherd, Labrador and Pug. You can choose from three fur colours for each one, and buy additional ones from the store. The breeds of dog have different personalities, some are easier to train than others and some get dirty very quickly.

You can train your dogs to obey commands, such as 'sit', and 'lie down', and other basic (and not so basic) commands which you would teach a normal dog.

From the store you can buy your dogs accessories, such as toys, equipment (brushes, beds, etc.), treats and clothing.
