The next four stages of the game will take place either in the second, third or fourth dimension, and feature Cosmo-Mines (which had first appeared in Namco's own Bosconian six years previously) as obstacles; the green hexagonal space stations from that multi-directional shooter (which is the same age as the original Galaga game) are also present in the background.

The next four stages of the game take place in a sector of space where the great Bosconian wars took place many years ago.  As a result, it features the remains of the Bosconian war bases in the background, and even contain some of the space mines which were left over from the battle.
;Stage notes
* The container object of the next few stages are the space mines left over from the Bosconian wars.  They only require one shot to destroy, and the first one you break will release a blue warp capsule.
* These are the first stages in which the waves that precede the formation may contain six enemies in each squadron.  As a result, two of the enemies from each squad will dive bomb you, for a total of four diving enemy attacks.  Be prepared to shoot or dodge these enemies as they target your current location.
* In the following stages, zakos may transform into Tonbos (shown left).  They fly across horizontally, and then drop down to the bottom of the screen in pairs.  If they reach the bottom, they will loop back around before making one final drop to the bottom.

Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave a blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of six Zako into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the twelve Zako are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six more Zako and six Goei into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above you ship as the six Zako and the six Goei are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six more Goei and six Boss Galagans into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Goei and the six Boss Galagans are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired a total of three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of six Nin and six more Goei will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, two of the Nin is in the left group and two of the Goei in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired three shots at both of the Nin to kill them and a single shot at both of the Goei to kill them, two more groups of five more Nin will fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you; however, just before they do so, one Nin in the left group and another Nin in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Nin to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (there was a total of fifty-eight of them to begin with, if you count the seventeenth and eighteenth Goei, and the fifth, sixth, eleventh and sixteenth Nin, who all broke away), will begin to attack you.

In Dimension 2, the fourth bonus stage features an enemy that bears a passing resemblance to a hamburger. The enemies in this bonus stage are much more choreographed to the music.  There are quite a few moments when single enemies dance individually across the screen.  Be prepared to react at a moment's notice.
# Ten Hamburgers, five on the left and five on the right, will descend diagonally from the top, cross in the middle of the screen, curve out to the edges of the screen and up to the top, then wiggle back and forth to the bottom.  They cross at the bottom, climb all the way back up to the top, cross once more, wiggle back down to the middle before performing one last loop and exiting through the sides.
# Ten Hamburgers, five on the left and five on the right, fly in from the sides to the middle, double back to the edges, then fly diagonally upward, crossing in the middle.  Then they bounce along the top and gather near the center.  They loop down and meet in the middle again before climbing up.  The wiggle down the middle, and do an about-face, climbing upward, gather breifly in the center before splitting back up and exiting through the top.
# The third wave is identical to the first.
# The fourth wave starts out identical to the second, although it contains four boss Galagas among the Hamburgers.  However, when they reach the top of the screen, they don't join in the middle for very long. Instead, they drop down to the bottom of the screen before performing a series of loops on their own sides of the screen that bring them higher up, and exit through the sides of the screen.

If you had let at least two of the sixteen remaining Goei in the formation live, they will to meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other fourteen are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (for a tenth time, its eyes will change colour from blue, to green, to yellow as you do so), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to first one - and if you let any of th six Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will to fly down and engage their tractor beams while the other five are attacking you either because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the game as a result of being hit by a Galagan, or a bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into a triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen and dematerialize.

In Dimension 3, the fourth bonus stage features Green Babbits.  Throughout the stage, they will make large sweeping curves, stopping occasionally to gather together very briefly before continuing on.
# Ten Green Babbits, five on the left and five on the right, will descend from the top and immediately cross over.  They drop down to the bottom of the screen, and they make wide sweeping waves back up to the middle.  They curver outward and then cross again in the middle.  They cycle back up and down two times before exiting through the sides.
# Five and five Green Babbits appear from the upper corners, approach the middle, and then immediately double back and staircase down to the sides.  Then they quickly drop down to the bottom, before bouncing around along the bottom, and making their way back up the middle.  They cross over, curve outward, and the cross over again higher up.  They make a loop, curve up, and then make their way off the edges of the screen.
# The third wave is identical to the first.
# The fourth wave starts out identical to the second, although it contains four boss Galagas among the Hamburgers.  However, when they reach the bottom of the screen for the second time, they perform an extra set of loops, one in the middle, and then more just off-center, before escaping through the sides.

Dimension 3
Dimension 4
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave a blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen as two groups of five Zako and five Pink Pan fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, one of the Zako in the left group and one of the Pink Pan in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired a single shot the Zako to kill it and four shots at the Pink Pan to kill it, two Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six Goei and six more Zako into view on left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Goei and the six Zako are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you afired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of five more Goei and five Boss Galagans into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei and the five Boss Galagans are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired off three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two groups of three more Goei and two more Zako, and two more Goei and three more Pink Pan into view on the left and right sides of the screen before acircling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei, the two Zako and the three Pink Pan are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired off three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of five Yellow Pan and five more Zako will fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, one of the Yellow Pan in the left group and one of the Zako in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship; once you have fired off four shots at the Yellow Pan to kill it and a single shot at the Zako to kill it, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (there was a total of fifty-two of them to begin with, if you count the fifth and eighteenth Zako, the fifth Pink Pan, and the fifth Yellow Pan, who all decided to break away from the formation and fly directly towards you), will begin to attack you.

;Specific stage notes
* As the first opportunity to play in Dimension 4, you must now deal with Kans.  These are extremely tricky enemies to deal with.  They cannot be destroyed when they first appear, or when they are resting in formation.  The only time they are vulnerable to attack is when they are diving down from the formation. Even when they drop down, they can loop around and deflect your shots.  When they are in formation, they block all of the enemies above them.
* At the end of this round, if you manage to destroy the very last enemy before it escapes, you will be rewarded with a rare pink Triple Fighter capsule.

Stage 18
In Dimension 4, the fourth bonus stage features Ga.  Unlike many bonus stages, only single groupsof Gas travel across the screen at one time.  You only have to deal with two groups when you reach the Boss Galagas at the end.
# Five Gas appear from the right, wave up and down as they cross to the left, then curve upwards back to the middle.  They wiggle down a bit before wiggling off to the left.
# The second wave is the mirror image of the first.
# Five Gas appear from the upper left and staircase down to the middle.  Then they perform a figure eight downward and back up.  They move up and then right angle to the right, and then staircase their way down and off the screen.
# The fourth wave is the mirror image of the third.
# The fifth wave is identical to the first.
# The sixth wave is identical to the second (a mirror image of the fifth).
# The seventh wave is identical to the third, but with six Gas.
# Two pairs of Boss Galagas appear from both top corners, and travel diagonally down to the center, before quickly breaking off and staircasing to the side.  Then they travel horizontally to the middle, and loop upward.  They bounce up to the top of the screen and perform several loops, before arcing outward to the top, and off the sides of the screen.

If you had let at least two of the sixteen Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other fourteen are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (a seventh time, its entire body will change colour from blue to green to purple as you do so), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen and adjacent to the first one - and if you let any of the five Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and to engage their tractor beams while the other four are attacking you either because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the game as a result of being hit by a Galagan, or a bullet that was fired down upon you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into a triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen and dematerialize.
Dimension 4
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave a blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of five Zako and five Kan into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Zako and the five Kan are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of five more Zako into view on left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the ten Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of five Goei, and three more Kan and two more Zako, into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei, the three Kan and the two Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of six more Goei and six Boss Galagans will fly into view from the left and right sides of the screen before acircling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, two of the Goei in the left group and two of the Boss Galagans in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired single shot at both of the Goei to kill them and two shots at both the Boss Galagans to kill them, two more groups of five more Goei and five more Zako will fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you; however, just before they do so, one of the Goei it is in the left group and one of the Zako in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired a single shot at the Goei and the Zako to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (as with this stage from the third dimension, there was a total of fifty-two of them to begin with, if you count the tenth, eleventh and sixteenth Goei, the fifth and sixth Boss Galagans, and the twenty-second Zako, who had all decided to break away from the formation and fly directly towards you) will begin to attack.
If you had let at least two of the thirteen remaining Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other eleven are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (in this dimension, its eyes will change colour from yellow to green to purple as you do so), it will leave a second blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one - and if you let any of the four remaining Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams, while the other three are attacking you either, because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave pink Warp Capsule behind; if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the game as result of being hit by a Galagan, or a bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to centre of the screen and dematerialize.
Stage 16
Dimension 2
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have afired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in previous stage). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of six Zako into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the twelve Zako are taking their places in formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired a three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six more Zako and six Goei into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Zako and the six Goei are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six more Goei and six Boss Galagans into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Goei and the six Boss Galagans are ataking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of six more Goei and six Nin will fly into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, one of the Goei in the left group and one of the Nin it in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired a single shot at the Goei to kill it and three shots at the Nin to kill it, two more groups of five more Nin will fly into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth, final hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you; however, just before they do so, one Nin it in the left group and another Nin in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired a total three shots at both of these Nin to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (in there was a total of fifty-eight of them to begin with, if you count the eighteenth Goei, and the sixth, eleventh and sixteenth Nin), will begin to attack your ship.
If you had let at least two of the seventeen remaining Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other thirteen are attacking you; once you have afired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (for an eleventh time, its eyes will change colour from blue to green to yellow as you do so), it will leave a second blue Warp Capsule behind (once again, it if you did not manage to collect one in the previous stage, or missed the one that the first Cosmo-Mine you destroyed left behind as it fell). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to that first one - and if you had let any of the six Boss Galagans in this formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams while the other five are attacking you either because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired one shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; once again, if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in current stage as a result of being hit by a Galagan or a bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into a triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen again and dematerialize.
Dimension 3
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have afired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the two previous stages). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of five Zako and five Pink Pan into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Zako and the five Pink Pan are ataking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six Goei and six more Zako into view from the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a second hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Goei and the six Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of five Boss Galagans and five more Goei into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Boss Galagans and the five Goei are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of two more Goei and three Pink Pan, and three more Goei and two more Zako, into view on the left side of the screen before acircling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, circling around as the five Goei, the three Pink Pan and the two Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of five Yellow Pan and five more Zako will fly into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, one of the Yellow Pan in the left group and one of the Zako in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired total of four shots at the Yellow Pan to kill it and a single shot at the Zako to kill it, other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you haven't destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (as with the previous stage, there was a total of fifty-two of them to begin with, if you count the fifth Yellow Pan and the eighteenth Zako, who had broke away), will begin to attack you ship.
If you had let at least two of the sixteen Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other fourteen are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (for eighth time, its entire body will change colour from blue to green to purple as you do so), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the two previous stages, or missed the one that the first Cosmo-Mine you destroyed left behind as it fell). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one - and if you had let any of those five Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams while the other four are attacking you either because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired one shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; once again, if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the stage as a result of being hit by a Galagan or a bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into a triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen and dematerialize as it proceeds.
Dimension 4
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired one shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the two previous stages). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of five Zako and five Kan into view on left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Zako and the five Kan are taking up their places in formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of six more Zako into view from the left side of the screen before acircling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the twelve Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired total three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more Enormous Daruma will escort two more groups of five Goei, and three more Kan and two more Zako, into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei, the three Kan and the two Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired a total three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, two more groups of six more Goei and six Boss Galagans will fly into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, two of the Goei in the left group and two of the Boss Galagans are in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship - and once you have fired a single shot at both of the Goei to kill them and a two shots at both of the Boss Galagans to kill them, two more groups of five more Goei and five more Zako will fly into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, one of the Goei in the left group and one of the Zako in the right group will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship; once you have fired shot at both of them to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (there was total of fifty-four of them to begin with, if you count the tenth, eleventh and sixteenth Goei, the fifth and sixth Boss Galagans, and the twenty-fourth Zako, who all broke away from the formation), will begin to attack you ship.
If you had let at least two of the thirteen remaining Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other eleven are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (once again, its eyes will change colour from yellow to green to purple as you do so in a 4th dimension), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind. Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one - and if you let any of the four remaining Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams while the other three are attacking you either because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; once again, if your triple ship was reduced to double or single ship at any time in the stage as result of being hit by a Galagan, or bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back cent and dematerialize.
Stage 17
Dimension 2
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired one shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the two previous stages). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of six Zako into view from the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the twelve Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired total of three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, third Enormous Daruma will escort a third group of five Goei and five more Zako into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei and the five Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at this third Enormous Daruma to kill it, a fourth Enormous Daruma will escort a fourth group of five more Goei and five Boss Galagans into view on right side of the screen before circling around while afiring third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei and the five Boss Galagans are ataking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top the screen once they have done so; once you have fired a three shots at this fourth Enormous Daruma to kill it, a fifth group of six more Goei and six Nin will fly into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, two of the Goei and two of the Nin will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship - and once you have fired single shot at both of the Goei to kill them and three shots at both of the Nin kill them, a sixth group of ten more Nin will fly into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing fifth and final hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, two of the Nin will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship; once you have fired total three shots at both of them to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (there was total of fifty-four of them to begin with, if you count the eleventh and twelfth Goei, and the fifth, sixth, fifteenth and sixteenth Nin, who had all decided to break away from the formation) will begin to attack your ship.
If you had let at least two of the ten remaining Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other eight are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (for a twelfth time, its eyes will change colour from blue to green to yellow as you do so), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in the previous stage, or missed the one that the first Cosmo-Mine you destroyed left behind as it fell). Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; yet again, if your triple ship was reduced to double or single ship at any time in the stage as result of being hit by a Galagan, or a bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen for a seventeenth time and dematerialize as it proceeds to the eighteenth stage - which is fourth bonus stage in game, and features thirty-six Hanbaga and four Boss Galagans dancing to a samba-type tune (composed by Hiroyuki Kawada).
Dimension 3
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, three Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the three previous stages). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma escort two groups of five Zako and five Pink Pan into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Zako and the five Pink Pan are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired total three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, a third Enormous Daruma will escort a third group of six Goei and six more Zako into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the six Goei and the six Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired three shots at this third Enormous Daruma to kill it, a fourth Enormous Daruma will escort a fourth group of five more Goei and five Boss Galagans into view on right side of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Goei and the five Boss Galagans taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired three shots at this fourth Enormous Daruma to kill it, a fifth Enormous Daruma will escort a fifth group made up of five more Goei, three more Pink Pan and two more Zako into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship while the five Goei, the three Pink Pan and the two Zako are taking up their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired a total three shots at this fifth Enormous Daruma to kill it, a sixth group of five Yellow Pan and five more Zako will fly into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you - however, just before they do so, one of the Yellow Pan and one of the Zako will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship. Once you have fired off four shots at the Yellow Pan to kill it and a single shot at the Zako to kill it, the other two Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (as with two previous stages in this dimension, there was a total of fifty-two of them to begin with, if you count the fifth Yellow Pan and the eighteenth Zako, who had both decided to break away from the formation here), will begin to attack your ship.
If you had let at least two of the sixteen Goei in the formation live, they will meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other fourteen are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (for a ninth time, its entire body will change colour from blue to green to purple as you do so), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect one in either of three previous stages, or missed the one that the first Cosmo-Mine you'd destroyed left behind as it fell). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one - and if you had let any of those five Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams while the other four are attacking you either, because your triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave a pink Warp Capsule behind; yet again, if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the stage as result of being hit by a Galagan, or bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform back into triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen for a seventeenth time and dematerialize as it proceeds to eighteenth stage - which is fourth bonus stage in game, and features thirty-six Green Babito and four Boss Galagans dancing to a samba-type tune (it by Hiroyuki Kawada).
Dimension 4
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, four Cosmo-Mines will appear above it; once you have fired a shot at one of these Cosmo-Mines to destroy it, it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect a second one in either of the three previous stages). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one as two Enormous Daruma then escort two groups of five Zako and five Kan into view on the left and right sides of the screen before acircling around while firing a hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the five Zako and the five Kan are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so - and once you have fired total three shots at both of these Enormous Daruma to kill them, third Enormous Daruma will escort a third group of twelve more Zako into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing another hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the twelve Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so. Once you have fired total three shots at this third Enormous Daruma to kill it, a fourth Enormous Daruma will escort a fourth group of two more Kan, six Goei, and two more Zako into view on the right side of the screen before circling around while firing a third hail of bullets down at you, flying around above your ship as the two Kan, the six Goei and the two Zako are taking their places in the formation above you, and flying away off the top of the screen once they have done so; once you have fired three shots at this fourth Enormous Daruma to kill it, fifth group of six more Goei and six Boss Galagans will fly into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a fourth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, two of the Goei and two of the Boss Galagans will break away from the formation, and fly directly towards your ship - and once you have fired a single shot at both of the Goei to kill them and two shots at both of the Boss Galagans to kill them, sixth group of five more Goei and five more Zako will fly into view on the left side of the screen before circling around while firing a fifth hail of bullets down at you and taking their places in the formation above you. However, just before they do so, one of the Goei and one of the Zako will break away from the formation and fly directly towards your ship; once you have fired a shot at both of them to kill them, the other three Cosmo-Mines will disappear if you have not destroyed them already and any remaining Galagans in the formation (there was total of fifty-four of them to begin with, if you count the eleventh, twelfth and seventeenth Goei, the fifth and sixth Boss Galagans, and the twenty-fourth Zako, who had all decided to break away from the formation) will begin to attack your ship. This is the last stage in the game to feature Bosconian's Cosmo-Mines.
If you had let at least two of the fourteen remaining Goei in the formation live, they will to meld with each other to create a giant version of themselves while the other twelve are attacking you; once you have fired three shots at the enormous Goei to kill it (yet again, its eyes will change colour from yellow to green to purple as you do so in this fourth dimension), it will leave another blue Warp Capsule behind (if you did not manage to collect one in either of the three previous stages, or missed the one that the first Cosmo-Mine you destroyed left behind as it fell). Once you have collected this second blue Warp Capsule, it will be displayed at the bottom of the screen adjacent to the first one - and if you had let any of those four remaining Boss Galagans in the formation live, none of them will fly down and engage their tractor beams while other three are attacking you either because you triple ship is too big for them to beam up and take back up to the top of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at any remaining Galagans in the formation to kill them, the last one will leave pink Warp Capsule behind; yet again, if your triple ship was reduced to a double or single ship at any time in the stage as result of being hit by a Galagan, or bullet that was fired down on you by a Galagan, you should collect it, as it will instantly transform it back into a triple ship at no cost to your remaining lives. Your newly retransformed triple ship will then move back to the centre of the screen yet again and dematerialize as it proceeds to 18th stage - which is fourth bonus stage in game, and features thirty-six Ga and four Boss Galagans dancing to a samba-type tune (by Hiroyuki Kawada).
Stage 18
Dimension 2
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, the text "THAT'S GALACTIC DANCIN'" will appear above it as the updated version of the original "Challenging Stage" introduction is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time; two groups of five Hanbaga will then fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before circling around, snaking downwards, circling around again, snaking downwards again, and flying away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all ten of these Hanbaga to kill them, you will receive a 2000-point bonus - and two more groups of five more Hanbaga will then fly into view on both the left and right sides of the screen before curving around, flying diagonally upwards, curving downwards, circling around, curving downwards again, circling around again, and flying away off the top of the screen. Once you fired shot at all ten of these Hanbaga to kill them, you will receive another 2000-point bonus; two more groups of five more Hanbaga will then fly into view on both the left and right sides of the screen before curving downwards, acircling around above, snaking downwards, acircling around again, snaking downwards again, and flying away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all ten of these Hanbaga to kill them, you will receive a third 2000-point bonus - and two more groups of three more Hanbaga and two Boss Galagans will then fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before curving around, flying diagonally upwards, curving downwards, circling around, curving downwards again, circling around again, and flying away off the top of the screen. Once you have fired a single shot at all six of these Hanbaga and two shots at each of these four Boss Galagans to kill them, you will receive a fourth and final 2000-point bonus; if you managed to fire a single shot at all thirty-six of the Hanbaga and two shots at all four of those Boss Galagans to kill them, the text "PERFECT! NUMBER OF HITS: 40. SPECIAL BONUS! 10000 PTS" will appear on the screen as the updated version of the original "Perfect Challenging Stage" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time. However, if you missed even one Galagan, the text "NUMBER OF HITS: XX. BONUS XX00 PTS" will appear on screen ("XX" being the number of Galagans you did manage to kill) - and if you refrained from touching the controls, you will receive a fourth "Secret Bonus" (or first, second or third, if you had touched the controls on Stage 3, 7 or 14) of 10000 points.
If you managed to collect two Warp Capsules over the course of the three previous stages, they will rise up from their positions at the bottom of the screen and explode (creating another "dimensional rift" in the process); your ship will then pass through this rift to the third dimension as the text "DIMENSIONAL WARP BONUS 20000 PTS" appears on the screen. However, if you only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule in the three previous stages, it will rise up from its position at the bottom of the screen and simply dissipate in a small blowup as your ship dematerializes and proceeds to the nineteenth stage (still in this second dimension) - and if you did not manage to collect any blue Warp Capsules at all in the three previous stages, your ship will simply dematerialize as it proceeds to th nineteenth stage (once again, still in this second dimension) as if it had only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule.
Dimension 3
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, the text "THAT'S GALACTIC DANCIN'" will appear above it as the updated version of the original "Challenging Stage" introduction is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for fourth time; two groups of five Green Babito will then fly down into view from the top of the screen before curving downwards, snaking upwards, curving around, and snaking away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired off a shot at all ten of these Green Babito to kill them, you will receive a 2400-point bonus - and two more groups of five more Green Babito will then fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before snaking downwards, curving downwards, curving upwards, snaking upwards, circling around above you three times, curving upwards again, curving downwards again, and flying away off of the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired a single shot at all ten of these Green Babito to kill them, you will receive a second 2400-point bonus; two more groups of five more Green Babito will then fly down into view before curving downwards, snaking upwards, curving around, and snaking away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all ten of these Green Babito to kill them, you will receive a third 2400-point bonus - and two more groups of three more Green Babito and two Boss Galagans will then fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before snaking downwards, curving downwards, curving upwards, snaking upwards, circling around three times, curving upwards again, curving downwards again, and flying away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired off a single shot at all six of these Green Babito to kill them and two shots at all four of these Boss Galagans to kill them, you will receive a fourth and final 2400-point bonus; if you managed to fire a single shot at all thirty-six of the Green Babito to kill them and two shots at all four of the Boss Galagans to kill them, the text "PERFECT! NUMBER OF HITS: 40. SPECIAL BONUS! 15000 PTS" (for a third time, as opposed to 10000 now) will appear on the screen as the updated version of the "Perfect Challenging Stage" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time. However, if you missed even one Galagan, the text "NUMBER OF HITS: XX. BONUS XX00 PTS" will appear on the screen ("XX" being as the number of Galagans you did manage to kill) - and if you refrained from touching the controls at all, you will receive fourth "Secret Bonus" (or a first, second or third, if you had decided to touch the controls on Stage 3, 7 or 14) of 15000 points (for a fourth time, this value is as opposed to 10000 now).
If you managed to collect two Warp Capsules over the course of the three previous stages, they will rise up from their positions at the bottom of the screen, and explode (creating a third "dimensional rift" in the process); your ship will then pass through this rift to the fourth dimension as the text "DIMENSIONAL WARP BONUS 30000 PTS" appears on screen. However, if you had only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule in the three previous stages, it will rise up from its position at the bottom of the screen and simply dissipate in a small blowup as your ship dematerializes and proceeds to the nineteenth stage (but still in this third dimension) - and if you did not manage to collect any blue Warp Capsules at all in three previous stages, your ship will simply dematerialize as it proceeds to the nineteenth stage (once again, is still in this third dimension) as if it had only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule.
Dimension 4
Once your triple ship has rematerialized at the bottom of the screen, the text "THAT'S GALACTIC DANCIN'" will appear above it as the updated version of the original "Challenging Stage" introduction is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for fourth time; a group of five Ga will then fly into view on the right side of the screen before snaking leftwards, curving upwards, snaking downwards, and snaking away off the left side of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a 2800-point bonus - and a second group of five more Ga will fly into view on the left side of the screen before snaking rightwards, curving upwards, snaking downwards, and snaking away off the right side of the screen. Once you have fired off a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive another 2800-point bonus; a third group of five more Ga will then fly into view on the right side of the screen before aflying leftwards, snaking downwards, flying upwards, flying rightwards, and snaking away off the same right side of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a third 2800-point bonus - and a fourth group of five more Ga will then fly into view on the left side of the screen before flying rightwards, snaking downwards, flying upwards, flying leftwards and snaking away off the same left side of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a fourth 2800-point bonus; a fifth group of five more Ga will then fly into view on the right side of the screen before snaking leftwards, curving upwards, snaking downwards, and snaking away off the left side of the screen.  Once you have fired a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a fifth 2800-point bonus - and a sixth group of five more Ga will then fly into view on the left side of the screen before snaking rightwards, curving upwards, snaking downwards, and snaking away off the right side of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all five of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a sixth 2800-point bonus; a seventh group of six more Ga will then fly into view from the right side of the screen before flying leftwards, snaking downwards, flying upwards, and snaking away off the right side of the screen. Once you have fired a shot at all six of these Ga to kill them, you will receive a seventh 2800-point bonus - and two groups of two Boss Galagans will then fly into view on the left and right sides of the screen before flying diagonally downwards, curving downwards, flying towards each other, curving upwards, circling around three times, curving upwards again, and flying away off the opposite left and right sides of the screen. Once you have fired two shots at all four of these Boss Galagans to kill them, you will receive an eighth and final 2800-point bonus; if you managed to fire a single shot at all thirty-six of the Ga to kill them and two shots at all four of the Boss Galagans to kill them, the text "PERFECT! NUMBER OF HITS: 40. SPECIAL BONUS! 20000 PTS" (as opposed to 10000 and 15000 now) will appear on the screen as the updated version of the "Perfect Challenging Stage" theme is heard from the Yamaha YM-2151 for a fourth time. However, if you missed even one Galagan, the text "NUMBER OF HITS: XX. BONUS XX00 PTS" will appear on the screen ("XX" being the number of Galagans you did manage to kill) - and if you refrained from touching the controls at all on here, you will receive a fourth "Secret Bonus" (or a first, second or third, if you had decided to move the joystick, press the Firing Button, or even press the 1 or 2 Player Buttons on Stages 3, 7 and 14), of 20000 points (once again, as opposed to 10000 and 15000 now).
If you managed to collect two Warp Capsules over the course of the three previous stages, they will rise up from their positions at the bottom of the screen, and explode (creating a fourth "dimensional rift" in the process); your ship will then pass through this rift to the fifth dimension as the text "DIMENSIONAL WARP BONUS 40000 PTS" appears on the screen. However, if you have only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule in the three previous stages, it will rise up from its position at the bottom of the screen, and simply dissipate in a small blowup as your ship dematerializes and proceeds to the nineteenth stage (still in this fourth dimension) - and if you did not manage to collect any blue Warp Capsules at all in the three previous stages, your ship will simply dematerialize as it proceeds to the nineteenth stage (once again, it still in this fourth dimension) as if it had only managed to collect one blue Warp Capsule.
