Go to the Pokémon school (to the north of the Pokémon Center) and look around; it's got some good tips, especially if you're not familiar with the Pokémon franchise of games.


Go to the Pokémon school(to the north of the Pokémon Center), it has good help for the game then if you have a Bellsprout, go to the house left of the Pokémon Center to trade it for an Onix, it will help beat Falkner, now go to Sprout Tower, It will help train your Pokémon to beat Falkner.
The man in the house to the left and down from the Pokémon center will give you an {{bp|Onix}} if you give him a {{bp|Bellsprout}}.
 
Go to Sprout Tower at the north of the map before finding your way to the Violet City Gym.
