'''Spectrobes''', Buena Vista Games' first original property, sets you in the star system of Nanairo as Planetary Patrol agent Rallen. You have to protect your system from the harmful alien invaders known as the Krawl. To do so, you must venture out and around the game's many planets to excavate and revive ancient creatures called the Spectrobes to combat the Krawl invasion. Spectrobes employs a few unique features that sets the game apart form the crowd. The first feature, the Card Input System, allows you to input data from cards that come packaged with the game when bought. The next unique feature is the Wi-Fi connection. Instead of the expected battling and trading which is handled instead by the DS Wireless feature, over Nintendo WFC, you can upload your play stats to the Spectrobes website, and download Custom Parts, Spectrobes, Items and videos.
