Segmenting of the guide

Ok this is really annoying me. This guide was originally on one page and that worked very well, it wasn't too long and it had a nice visual wiki article feel. It was then divided up into five extremely short and non-visual pages. I asked Garrett to put it on one page with all the new content. It was a bit on the long side, but it looked better. Now DrBob you edit it again to make it look like a directory and not a guide.

Lets stop making this guide a directory with links to five pages and lets make it a longer guide with images, sections, and a table of contents so that it actually looks good.

If the sections were shorter, I would have left them all as one page. However, the page was too long, and in anticipation of further expansion, I segmented the guide. It's a policy to sub-page different topics in a guide, and I think it works well here. If you want it to look like a guide, expand it and add a walkthrough. --DrBob (Talk) 14:21, 27 August 2006 (CDT)

Main Page

I really don't think that the "Basics Beginning Your New Life" is needed on this page. The walkthrough section has an extremely detailed article about beginning your new name. I have images of all the fish, bugs and most of the characters from animal crossing. Altogether it works out as approx 140 images. Is this too many to upload?--Minx 05:12, 16 October 2006 (CDT)

There's no problem with the number of images, just make sure they are named and categorized properly. A good name for this image would be something like ACWW_Football_Fish.jpg. With respect to categories, refer to StrategyWiki:Images. It would also be a good idea to add the files to Category:Animal Crossing: Wild World images. Heh, yea. A good idea would be to upload one or two from each type of image (characters, fish, bugs..I'm not too sure how the game works) and fix up all their categorization. Then leave a message on DrBob's talk page.
