Hyrule Castle: A Great Fairy

The Great Fairy at the summit of Death Mountain mentioned that another of her kind lived near Hyrule Castle, so you make your way there. After going through the market, you climb the vines you see on the right just as before. On the other side of the gate and straight ahead, you see a sign. Beyond it you find a big boulder. After using one of your new bombs, the boulder is no more. You walk into the tunnel that was hidden behind it.

As with the previous Great Fairy, you go in and play Zelda's Lullaby on the Triforce symbol. This time the fairy grants you Din's Fire. This magic causes fire to erupt all around you, injuring enemies and starting fires. You then exit the area and return to Hyrule Field.

Zora's River

The water for the town moat actually extends to the East, so you follow it upstream. Eventually, you arrive at an area where you must leave Hyrule Field in order to follow it any farther. At this point you enter the area called Zora's River.

Beans, Beans, the Magical Fruit

As you enter, the often-met owl is waiting for you once again. After you finish speaking with him, you use your bombs to blow up the boulders that are in the way.

Go straight and right where the river turns it gets thinner at that part. Jump accros the thin section and follow the path. Don't bother killing any of the enemies here. Jump over to the otherside of the river and follow the path. Keep along the path all the way through this section. Until you get to the huge waterfall. If yoiu go right in the middle in front of the waterfall and play Zelda's Lullaby. Then jump through the opened part of the waterfall.

Zora's Domain

Stay on the path and follow it, until you have to choices, up or down. Go up to King Zora's Chamber. After talking to him he tells you that Princess Ruto is lost. Afterwords go to your left and you will see a Zora. Talk to hom to play the Diving Game. (See Mini Games Section) After you get the silver scale. Once again dive down to the water and look for an underground passage way that leads to Lake Hylia. once you find it dive down and through the passageway.

Lake Hylia

Once you get to Lake Hylia go forward and Navi will turn green and go ubnderwater. ive down there to get the message in the bottle. Put the bottle onto one of the C buttons. Then turn around and go back through the secret passageway.

Zora's Domain

Go back into King Zora's Chamber and show him the letter in the bottle and he will move aside so you can past through, but don't got through yet. Go back downand go to the path that lead to the lower section and follow that until you reach some shallow water. You will see a few fish swimming around. Use your empty bottle and catch one in it. Then go back to King Zora's Chamber and walk aroun to your right and enter into the next area.

Zora's Fountain

Once you get in this area walk forward and you will see Jabu-Jabu. Thats tha huge animal laying there. Well swim around him an go untill you see and island with a tree. Get onto the island and you will a silver boulder against the wall. Go place a bomb right to the left of it or the right of it and back away. It should blow up the wall. Walk through the passageway. It is another fountain. Play Zelda's Lullabu and get Farore's Wind. Then leave and go to the front of Jabu-Jabu. Go in the center of that little island and drop the fish there. Jabu-Jabu will open his mouth and he will suck in the fish as well as you.

Inside Jabu-Jabu's Belly

Once you get in run past all the enemies in this room until you see the looked door. It looks nothing like a reguler door though. Turn around and look up. Then Z-target on the switch and hit it with your slingshot, and the door will unlock. Go into the next room. This next room is of no importance right now so just move on into the next room. You will see Princess Ruto in this next room. Talk to her and you will relize that she is in an angry mood. She will try walking away but will fall into one of the traps that are in the floor. Follow her through the trap.

Talk to her a couple of times and then she will say I will let you carry me. Go into the door that is behind you. In this next room run, jump, and through her onto the platform ahead. You will fall in the water. (Throughout this whole dungeon. If anything happens to Princess Ruto, just go backwards and she will be ther.) Hit the switch in the center and wait for the water to raise then climb up to the next section. Carry her again and go into the next room. Wait for the plarform to come all the way down and then jump on it to go to the top floor again. Now continue through the room where you first met Princess Ruto. Try not to fall in any of the small holes and go into the next room. In this room take the path to the right and put Princesss Ruto on the switch and then go into the door. In this room there are these creatures that fly over and underground. Just strike each of them with your sword to eliminate them. Once you kill them all a chest will appear in the middle of the room. Open it to recieve the Boomerang. Put the boomerang on one of the C-buttons. Go back outside to where Princess Ruto is. If you took to long then she is back by where you first saw her. Go and get her and come right back. Go back to where you turned right and this time turn left. Place Ruto on the switch and then enter the room. This is a real easy mini-boss. Just go close and when you see him come out of the cieling Z-target him with the boomerang and hit him. You should keill hi in a couple of hits. Get the map and leave. Ruto will get angry that you left her put once again pick her up and go until you could turn left. Here there use to be something blocking the path. Go into this next room. In this room there a lot of bubbles just floating around. Use your sword to kill them in the time that you are givin to get the compass. Leave the room. Go down the hall and enter the new door. There is another one of those creatures that you killid two rooms ago. Do the same to kill this one and then leave. Go into the last and final hallway in this area and once again fight this creature. Kill the creatures around it first and then kill it and leave the room. With Princess Ruto go back to where you first met her. Once youi get back in the room you will notice that the big tentacle that was covering one of the holes is gone. It is on the far right. Fall down and you will be on a platform that isn't reachable from any other way.

Go through the door that is now reachable and Princess Ruto will see the Zora's Saphire. Throw her onto the platform and she will run and get it, but then the platform goes up and then back down but without Princess Ruto. An Octopus comes back down with the platform names BigOcto. His weakspot is his back. You have to stun him by using the boomerang and then hit him in the back with your sword. Repeat this a couple of times to kill him. This could get tricky at times.

Climb onto to the platform and you will be once again taken up. In this next room freeze the jelly looking thing so it becomes a platform and then jump onto it and cross it to the exit. Jump onto the platform and it will take you lower. If you remember this room it is the second room of the level. Now that there is that extra platform you can reach the boss area but it is locked. If yoiu try to stand on the switch it will open but when you get off it wil close. Just simply walk around the room and pick up a box. Place the box on top of the switch and enter into the next room. Jump down and then climb the vines. There is a switch but it is blocked by glass. Just simply move back away from the glass, z-target and then unleash your boomerang to hit the switch. Jump dwon and then go through the door to enter into the boos room.

The boss of Jabu-Jabu's Belly is BARNADE. First use your boomerang to break his connection to the ceiling. Afterwords he will unleash jellyfish. Kill them by using your boomerang. Now the center of his body will be revealed. Hit it with the boomerang and then with the sword. Repeat these tactics untill Barnade is defeated.

There is a scene with Link and Princess Ruto in the water of Zora's Fountain and there she will give you the Zora's Saphire.
