Although the changes to {{3ds}} do make things easier in some cases, it removes giving the user an obvious "you're using the wrong name" by showing the result in red. We also want to keep those templates as simple as possible, cause they're used all over the site, and adding two #switch's shouldn't be _necessary_, even though it's helpful. I believe we kinda stepped away from using the glow for "hold"ing down a button. I feel it doesn't really convey the idea of holding down the button properly.
