Welcome to StrategyWiki!

Hello Megaminxwin! Welcome to StrategyWiki. Thank you for your contributions. If you have any questions, just contact a sysop through their talk page or post on the staff lounge, and they'd be happy to help. If you need help editing, check the StrategyWiki Guide or ask a sysop, we're usually around. On the other hand, if you have ideas for StrategyWiki, bring them up on the forums. To keep up-to-date with the goings on of the wiki, consider adding the noticeboard to your watchlist.

Image categorization

When uploading images, please make sure to categorise them using the correct image categories and the guide-specific category, i.e. [[Category:Game Name images]]. Please see our image policy for more details. Thanks for helping to keep our images neat! Paco (talk) 11:22, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

I do apologise, I was unaware of this policy, because I'm stupid. All fixed now. Megaminxwin (talk) 11:25, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Nah, you're not stupid. I made that mistake at begin too, but with time i learned what is needed to do. ^^ You only added Screenshots as Category, but images usually have 2 or more Categories. One Game Category and another Category (Screeenshots, Sprites, Maps, etc). See here what was missing. Paco (talk) 11:36, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Okay, good to know. I'll get around to doing that as soon as I finish with this page. Megaminxwin (talk) 11:38, 17 August 2013 (UTC)
Right, I think that's all of them. If it isn't, you must tell me. TELL ME. I must be perfect. Megaminxwin (talk) 12:00, 17 August 2013 (UTC)

Capitalization after a colon

Please do not capitalize the first word after a colon, like you did so a few times in this diff. It is not grammatically correct. It is not the beginning of a new sentence. Thank you, and thanks for your help with the Super Mario 64 guide. =) --Notmyhandle (talk contribs) 15:19, 22 August 2013 (UTC)

Apologies. I actually thought it was grammatically correct, since it's in the style of a list, or something? I guess it would probably be best to use a whole different style instead... hrm. Something to think about. Megaminxwin (talk) 04:13, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
Actually, NMH, what Megaminxwin did there might be acceptible. The words before the colon are just the name of a stage, so the word after the colon is the start of a new sentence. It's not the same as writing something like:
If there's one thing you shouldn't do, it's this: don't do blah blah blah.
In that example, the word "don't" isn't starting a new sentence, so you would be right. But in the example you pointed out, it's more like:
Level 1: To complete this level, do blah blah blah.
"Level 1" isn't really the start of the sentence, "To" is. Ultimately though, it's really no big deal. Procyon 05:24, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
